Tour of Sri Ramanasramam - Photos 15 & 16
These pictures show the Samadhi of Bhagavan's Mother in Sri Matrubhuteshwara Temple, taken through the adjoining doors from the New Hall.
The temple was designed according to the strict Agamic rules for Temple building set out in the Vedas, and Bhagavan took intense interest in its construction.
We can be certain that Bhagavan's insistence on adherance to Vedic guidelines and His own involvement in the project, has special significance for those who visit and worship at this shrine. This is most certainly a very powerful place and silent worship here of the Goddess of the Self brings remarkable results for those seeking mukti in this lifetime.
Puja is performed here every day and Sri Chakra Puja is performed between 5 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. every Friday, full moon day, and the first day of each Tamil month.
