After Login you have the option to Add new Topic - Edit Topic - View Registration Details - Edit Registration Details select the one that you want and follow the onscreen instructions.

Add new Topic

Main category - Sub-category

Each Topic is placed under a Main Category followed by a Sub-category. Selecting the right categories will help visitors to find your Topic easily.

We have included a range of sub-categories which we feel will cover the majority of topics, but it is impossible to cover everything. If you feel that your Topic falls outside of the listed sub-categories, then place it under 'other'.

Location

You have to select the Location for your topic - select the State (i.e. Tamil Nadu) if it is specific to any particular State, or All of India / Outside of India if not.

Insert your Topic Title

You have to provide a Title for your Topic. You should choose a short Title (no more than ten words) that reflects the subject of your Topic. If your Topic is about Traffic problems in India, then your Title should contain those words. If it about a new recipe for Sambar, then a good Title will contain Food, Sambar and Recipe in it.

Your Name

You must enter a Name to identify the Topic contributor. You do not have to use your real name, most people use a pseudonym when they post articles, but you should use the same name across multiple posts.

Upload photographs

You can add up to five high-quality photographs with commantaries to accompany your topic. We recommend that you prepare your photos in advance using a programme like Photoshop and upload them with the correct dimensions. For landscape photographs (wider than tall) you should resize them to 500 pixels wide. For portrait photographs (taller than wide) you should resize them to 330 pixels high. Square photographs should be resized to 330 pixels wide.

Add text

It is important to use good English when adding your comments. You should prepare your text in a text editor before inserting it on the site. Your purpose is to communicate your ideas to others and therefore you should take care to ensure that your commentaries actually say what you mean.

Common errors -

As English is not the first language of the majority of Indian nationals and because standards of teaching vary, there are bound to be wide differences. Most good quality word processors will help with grammar, spelling and punctuation.
