Patience, more patience; Tolerance, more tolerance
« on: August 07, 2010, 11:54:37 AM »
TKS Iyer was agitated because someone in the town had spoke disparagingly of the Master and he had failed to retort. So he asked the Master what penalty should be paid for his failure to defend him. The Maharshi replied,

"Patience, more patience; Tolerance, more tolerance"

Dear Nagaraj,

Yes. Yes. Bhagavan Ramana always stressed perseverance in all
matters, be it self enquiry or dealing with others.  He has said:
Both love and dislike should be eschewed. (Who am I?]

Arunachala Siva.
