Bhagavan Ramana uses the word "Ettinum", in Verse 8.  This means
in Tamil "through glories".  Saint Manikkavachagar has also used
the word "Ettinum" in Tiruvachakam, where he meant worships and
pujas.  We can take the same meaning here. Thus Bhagavan Ramana
indicates the pujas of any type, to any god (EpporuL).  Bhagavan
never decried bhakti in any form and He has said "bhakti is Jnana's
mother".  He only said that these pujas in various forms are superior
to one another in steps.  Verse 4 of Upadesa Undiyar says:

"This is certain, puja, japa and dhyana are respectively actions
of body, speech and mind, and one is superior to (the preceding)
one."       

Though we are free to worship God in any manner or in any name
and form, God has no form and name.  No matter in what name
or form a devotee may worship God, if that worship is genuine and
performed with true love, God will respond definitely to the devotee.

Nevertheless, no form or name of God can adequately depict him,
as he really is, because he is the absolute and infinite reality, that
transcends all concepts and mental form of understanding.

Bhagavan Ramana again uses the word "Per-uruvil" in Verse 8.

This word "Per-uruvil" literally means a great form, which transcends
all names and forms and nameless and formless.  Then how can
it be called "a great form"?   This "great form" only means all-pervasive, eternal and describable form. i.e. Self, or Atma or
Brahman.  Bhagavan also uses the word "Mei PoruL" which means
the Truth, the Real Substance, or the Substratum. 

In order to see or know this absolute reality of essential being
"in truth", that is, as it really is, Bhagavan Ramana says that we
must become one with it by scrutinizing and knowing our own truth.
After knowing one should simply abide in It. This is the real "seeing" of the Truth.

As regards this non-dual Truth which becomes the end result of
mature devotion in names and forms followed by knowing our own
truth,  Bhagavan speaks about the triads and dyads - that are
only due to keeping a form and name to God and staying away
from that God as a worshipper. If there is a worshipper of God,
then there must be a worshipped name or form of God.  This means
triad, adding the world outside. 

This worship of an outside God, in the world, makes us to continue
to live with ego/mind.  This ego/mind - if not annihilated brings
about dyads, pain-pleasure, misery-happiness, fortune-misfortune
etc., etc.,  This is described in Verse 9.  We should investigate these dyads and triads, which are mutually dependent, and if one investigates deeply, through self enquiry, then these dyads and
triads would cease to cling us.
