Musings over Death - 10
« on: July 12, 2009, 04:25:49 PM »
Once some soldiers were staying in tents in a barracks.  They
were supposed to report at 5 am, when the bugle call was heard.
One soldier came late for two days in the morning and the commander
shouted at him, saying, "If you come late tomorrow, you will receive
my first bullet of the day on your chest."  The soldier was afraid of
his impending death.   He slept in his uniform, to be ready for the next morning.  When the bugle call was heard, he rushed to the queue of soldiers, taking his rifle.  The commander came to see the line up.
The commander became speechless on seeing this solider!

This soldier was not holding his rifle, but a double barrelled gun,
[which is normally mounted on a cart for sending the fires]
and this double barrelled gun weighs about 1 tonne!
