Musings over Death - 9
« on: July 12, 2009, 04:19:54 PM »
Once there was a brahmin devotee, who came to Bhagavan Ramana
and he fell seriously sick inside the Asramam.  He was accommodated
inside a room, with some medication.  He did not improve.  Some
relatives came and they requested Bhagavan to come and see him
in the room once.  Bhagavan Ramana went, and the patient was in a
semiconscious state.  On seeing Bhagavan Ramana, he sat up and
coughed vigorously that  phelgm and saliva fell on Bhagavan's
chest.  Bhagavan held him by hand, and touched his chest.  The
patient cried:  "O Bhagavan Ramana, I am liberated, I am liberated."   Then the patient fell back in his bed.  Bhagavan Ramana returned.  When someone offered to give soap and towel, Bhagavan refused, rubbed the phelgm and saliva on His chest and came to the Hall.
The patient breathed his last that evening!
