Guru Poornima Day - 27.06.2018

Today is Guru Purnima. The day on which one specially prays to Guru and offer   
one's salutations to him. The day is also called Vyasa Purnima, since Vyasa is
considered as the first guru.

Let us offer our special prayers to Sri Ramana, our Guru.

In the Asramam there will be special prayers to Sri Bhagavan, with devotees
offering their songs to Sri Bhagavan.

Our special namaskarams to our Guru on this special occasion.

It is celebrated on two full moon days. In Bangalore it is celebrated on
27th June. e.g in Sai Baba temple.  In the Asramam it is celebrated on the next full moon day.

okay  . thank you. but i see in shirdi  saibaba yearly calender they also mention guru poornima on 27th july . may  be u mean puttaparthi saibaba.. regards

Today is the Guru Poornima Day, 27.07.2018.  The devotees pray to their Guru.
They pray to Vysasa the most ancient Guru. In Asramam, they do special prayers
to Sri Ramana Maharshi, our Guru.    There will be special abhishekam, alankaram
and arti for Sri Ramaneswara Mahalingam.  This will be followed by special music
and the devotees would sing from Muruganar's work.

i was blessed  to be in asramam on 27th july on the eve guru poornima
that was a  much fulfilling stay and time with  shri bhagavan
om namo bhagavathe sri ramanaya
