Verse  9:

Both Vishnu who has all good things and Brahma of four faces,  when the god in Chempoṉpaḷḷi rose as a column of fire in the surroundings in which he stood,
Siva whose long and permanent head and feet could not be seen, though they went in search of them, flying in the sky and digging the earth, respectively.

Verse 10:

Shooting a single straight arrow, which is the god of fire on the wandering three forts to cause them to burn, Siva in Chempoṉpaḷḷi who pressed with his toe to crush the King of Lanka, will grant to his devotees bliss in Sivalokam, which is difficult to attain; that same god who snubbed the pride of Ravanan grants Sivalokam to his devotees.

Tiruk Katavur ( Veerasthanam):

Verse  1:

My mind which thinks of several things without being controlled like the elephant, and being the stand for cruel acts which confuse the mind, like the elephant which lives in the mountain,  Siva has the nature of the elephant of irresistible acts and other rutting elephants, therefore, Siva in Kaṭavūr is like the elephant which can be reached with good conduct which is the result of studying arts.

Siva has an elephant by name Ayiravaṇam, which is as white as the big silver mountain, he is like the elephant which enters into my mind in its true nature.
He is the elephant which occupies the temple which has beauty, Siva in Kaṭavūr is like the elephant which has a deceptive nature.

Siva is like the elephant which has well understood which is called spiritual knowledge.
Flaying the elephant which had become emaciated by the hot summer, to make Uma frightened, Siva in Kaṭavūr is the elephant that does not live in the forest. He is the elephant who melted the body to transform it as love itself.

Siva is the elephant which became beautiful by consuming the poison. He is the elephant which has a body like crystal, besides having a body like the sapphire. He is the elephant which has a beautiful and rich luster.  Siva in Kaṭavūr is the elephant to Yama, god of death.

He is the elephant that bathed in the five products of the cow offered by devotees with love. He is the elephant who has a long flag on which a white bull is drawn.  He is the elephant that flayed the elephant that slighted his might, to be despised by all. Siva in Kaṭavūr is the like the rutting elephant.

Siva is the elephant who has as his abode the big mountain Kailash, which seems to touch the sky.  The pure elephant that shot an arrow from the big mountain, that was bent into a bow, the elephant that destroyed the angry Yama god of death, Siva in Kaṭavur is like an angry elephant.

Siva is the elephant who confuses the people of this world.  He is the elephant who is praised by devotees, increasing in number. He is the elephant known to all Devas in heaven. He is the elephant who grants his vision to the apple of the eyes of the devotees who worship him with love.

Siva is the elephant who is the mass of red coral, which seems to be angry by its red color.  He is the elephant who removes the irresistible karma-s that are in the mind.
He is the elephant who dwells in the hearts of devotees, who lavish on him love, more than the mother. Siva is the elephant, who invites his devotees to come near him by his roaring.

Arunachala Siva.

Siva is the elephant who is the Vēdas, and its lovable light is the elephant who is the earth so that right conduct may prevail in the world. Chanting the Vēdas, is the elephant who understands, distinguishing the many eons.  Siva in Kaṭavūr is the elephant who loves his devotees, reciprocating their love.

Vishnu, who grew tall and Brahma of four faces proceeded, we shall find out the head and feet.  He is the elephant who was the unbearable fire which was the cause for putting out the pride of those two people.  Siva in Kaṭavūr is the elephant that can be seen by all people.

The elephant that pressed to crush the shoulders of the King of Lanka, who approached Kailash and lifted it.  He is the elephant who grew angry, with Yama god of death who came with fury on Mārkaṇdēyaṉ. Siva in Kaṭavūr adorns himself with Koṉṟai flowers.

Tiruk Katavur - Burning Ghat:

Verse  1:

The divine being who dwells in Kaṭavūr Burning Ghat,  wears a men's ear-ring in the right ear.  He dresses in a loin-cloth, holds a deer in his hand. He is near at hand to devotees will remove the sins and wrongs committed by his hereditary devotees.

Verse  2:

See 1st verse.  When the celestial beings utter his names, he is as sweet as the juice of the sugar cane and honey, in their minds.  He will not say "we shall grant our grace sometime later", but grants it at once to those who think of him and worship him with joined hands.
