Verse  3:

The ancient shrine of the god who is in the most exalted place, who wears an ear-ring of cobra to make those sages who sent it, to be frightened, is Veṇupuram where the ladies who carry a superior poison in their looks and have red lips like good coral and walk steps to be in agreement with music and dancing, are large in numbers.

Arunachala Siva.

Having the head of Dakshan cut off by (Virapattirar) the shrine of the chief of the celestial beings, who granted him boons in an abundant measure.
In many places many peacocks dance; the cloud thunders like the sound of the Muzhavu. It is Vēṇupuram where in the gardens the bees drink the honey found profusely.

Arunachala Siva.

Te Lord has many forms. He will admit us into his grace.
He shot an arrow from the bow for the fire to consume the three cities which were wandering in the sky, and belonged to the enemies. The god will admit us into his grace manifesting himself in the form in which his devotees meditate upon that is Veṇupuram which has gardens in which the beautiful female monkey descends looking at the sky in order to eat the fruits of the Tenkatali.

Arunachala Siva.

The shrine of the god who rose above the ocean which rose by covering with its water the world to make the people of this world and the celestial  world to have fear in their minds and visible expression of it in their bodies. It is that extensive Veṇupuram where the young scabbard fish jump into the air to make the cool and fragrant lotus flower to bend.

Arunachala Siva.

Verse  8:

The shrine of the Lord who pressed down with the nail of his toe to crush the heads and shoulders of the strong demon (Ravanaṉ) who lifted the mountain to make the daughter of the mountain to be seized with fear. He is in that Veṇupuram where big crowds of people who are well-versed in the collection of Vedams and the six Ankams, make researches which are very valuable.

Arunachala Siva.

The supreme god whose feet could not be seen even by that Vishnu, who swallowed the world, and therefore become confused in mind. The shrine of the supreme god who holds in his hand the skull of Brahma who was full of fear. It is that Veṇupuram surrounded by gardens, where the conch that is in the deep tank leaves the back water where it is produced and, reaching the broad field where superior red paddy is grown, sleeps.

Arunachala Siva.

Verse  10:

Along with the groups of Jains who have in their bodies accumulated dirt and Buddhists, the shrine of the Lord who could not be known to those two as they cannot worship the feet of increasing brightness. It is that Veṇupuram, where the women who dress in fine cloth, have a waist comparable to the middle of the Tuṭi, breasts which are equal to each other and eye-brows that are raised in the forehead and thrown as a weapon on men.

Arunachala Siva.

The songs of Pantaṉ, who rises from sleep fixing his mind on the feet of the Lord, composed in praise of Veṇupuram which is great by the sound of Vedam also,
those who are able to recite all these ten verses which are without any fault.
will not know any sorrow; will attain eternal bliss.

Padigam concluded.

Tiruvannamalai:

Verse 1:

The unequalled god who is united with Uṇṇāmulai Umai, having fixed her in the left half of this body. The mountain which belongs to the Lord who is completely a lady,
the big gems of sapphire to shine the acts, good and bad, of those who worship with joined hands Aṇṇāmalai, where the collection of streams which are full of fertile silt and which make a gentle sound, will be severed from them without fail.

Arunachala Siva.

As the branch beats, when it is released after taking the fruits of sweet mango by the male monkey. As the big and black cloud scatters small and minute drops of rain on the boulders, those who fix their thoughts on the red feet which wear beautiful Kazhal which are like the mango leaf in form, of the god in Aṇṇāmalai which has gardens which the wild cow approaches.

The pearl that is produced in the bamboo surrounded by gardens in which the male peacock with its beautiful tail lives with its female. The fame belongs to those who worship the lotus-red foot which destroyed the strength of the Yama (god of death), of the chief in Aṇṇāmalai which has gardens on which the clouds with hails in the expansion slopes where those pearls become mature, shed on the ground.

In addition to riding on the Bull to receive the alms which are given unasked for, as food, in the whole world, in the bowl of the white skull left in the cremation ground from which hairs have fallen out. To place on the head in the matted locks which has grown old, a young crescent moon, Aṇṇāmalai is the place for the deity who wears on his leg resounding Kazhal.

The streams which push in a large measure pearls, Silai (a kind of tree) and common Kadampa make a loud sound; The chief in Aṇṇāmalai,  where the Drum, Muravam, is played without considering that there is water (Ganga) united with him which moves in the strong matted locks. Is it proper for him to embrace Uma who has naturally fragrant tresses of hair in which the bottle flowers spread fragrance?

Siva adorns himself with the sacred ash.
The Lord in Aṇṇāmalai, which has rising water.
he dared so much as to drink the poison which rose in the ocean in which the crescent moon was born. Having drunk it, has a black neck as a result of that.
Many diseases will not approach those whose hearts melt, praising the feet of the Lord who has a fragrant matted locks.

Arunachala Siva.
