Verse  2:

The pearls in the cool sea which reach the sand which is heaped by the waves.
Girls are beautiful like the portrait.  Having them as big sand particles, adding with them, the flowers which have fragrance, play celebration of marriages. The god is in that Nallūr Perumaṇam, has a lady in one half.

Residing in Nallūr Perumaṇam, where the devotees having a mind full of love, get all good things. Those who praise the feet of my father who is the cause for happiness will not undergo sufferings will do more and more service to god.

Verse  4:

It is the tiger's skin that is tied round the waist.  The blanket with which he covers is the skin of the elephant which has a nature of killing. His loin cloth is wide.  The above mentioned belong to our god who is residing in Nallūr Perumaṇam where good-natured people worship him.

You desired the bull as your vehicle.  You desired the white ash, having danced in the fire in the cremation ground.  You were pleased to enjoy the fragrance of blossomed Koṉṟai flowers which are in rows and have honey.  You delighted in  Tirunallūr Perumaṇam as quite different from other shines.  You were pleased to have Uma as your half. (This verse praised god in the 2nd person.)

Verse  6:

He is easily accessible to devotees who worship him without failing in their routine.
He has a plate tied to his head when he assumed the form of a hunter.  You seem to be more partial towards the city of Nallur Perumaṇam where dances and musical instruments played as their accompaniments never cease.  You are our master. (In this verse God is praised both in the 3rd person and 2nd person.)

He has a neck as black as the sable cloud;  Has eight shoulders. Has Veṇṇīṟṟu Uma, as a half.  (Veṇṇīṟṟu Uma is the name of the goddess, in this shrine.) Has a serpent tied as a girdle upon the skin of the tiger which can pounce;  God in Nallūr Perumaṇam is in the enjoyment of all pleasures.  Though he was like that, he was practicing only Yoga.

You were deserving, and appropriate, to your greatness.  On that day, having placed the demon, beneath the high mountain to pine and be disheartened.  You were smiling at his ignorance today. You entered into Nallūr Perumaṇam and stayed there.
Please bestow grace upon us to reach your feet. (This line is said to hint that Sambanbdhar wanted deliverance from birth and death;  According to Periya Purāṇam, Sambandhar entered into the effulgent light at the entrance of the temple and merged with the Lord along with his wife.)

The one who is seated in the cool lotus flower suitable to him and the Vishnu of good nature are incapable of knowing his greatness. Great men say that all the four great Vedas are his songs. Nallūr Perumaṇam is the temple belonging to the Lord of twisted matted locks of hair.

You who quarrel, on hearing the ignorant words of ignorant Jains and Buddhists!
come the chief, to worship the feet of the Lord who is the meaning of the Vedas, it is easy to attain eternal bliss.

About the god in Nallūr Perumaṇam who can give positions which can be received by devotees, sung by Jnana Sambandhan, who was born in Sirkazhi, surrounded by fragrant gardens.  For those who are capable of reciting the Tamizh verses which can bestow good benefits, with the idea of reaching the feet of god, reproach spoken by the people, and sins will become extinct. They will not undergo any suffering.

(This is the place where Jnana Sambandhar got married and he merged with Siva
of the temple along with his wife as pure light. The story goes that along with Jnana
Sambandhar and his wife, those who had come to the temple, the drummers, pipers,
and other relatives merged as pure light with Siva.)

Padigam on Tiru Nallur Perumanam completed.

Tiru Vitaivai:

Verse  1:

(This decade was found inscribed on the temple wall;  it was copied by the department of epigraphy in 1917; the name of the Pan is not found.  1 This shrine is now known as Tiruviṭai Vāsai;  this shrine is mentioned by Aiyaṭikaḷ Kāṭavar Kōṉ Nāyaṉar in his Kshettira Tirattiruveṇpā:) Viṭaivāi, where the male bee which has dots and lines embraces its beautiful female bee and sleeps in the fragrant flower.  People say, it is the place where our father who holds a young deer in his hand and who is not separated from Uma, the beautiful lady, dwells.

Viṭaivāy where the mature buds of white species of Malabar glory-lily unfold their petals and blossom like hood of the cruel cobra everywhere.  Having adorned himself with bones, which are not suited to his greatness, people say is the place where Siva who placed the crescent moon rising on the red sky, on his brilliant head.

Carrying precious stones which make sound, and cool sandal-wood, Viṭaivāy where the fragrant water comes and descends the water is the floods in the rivulet Pāṇtavāy, (which is mentioned in the Veṇpā by Aiyaṭikaḷ Kāṭavar Kōṉ Nāyaṉār quoted before.) Siva who consumed the poison which rose in the roaring ocean, just like nectar;
people say is the place where Siva who has the color of fire and matted locks on which the Gaṅga, with waves, stays.

Viṭaivāy, where the mirthful swans stay in the lotus flowers. when the fragrant paddy having ears of corn fans like the white yak's tail is the dwelling place of desire of Siva, who kicked the god of death Yamā, to fall down with his weapon of noose-cord, who came upon the Lord, frightening and staring at him as if spitting fire from eyes.
