Verse  9:

ஆதிமா லயனவர் காண்பரியார்
வேதங்கள் துதிசெயு மயேந்திரரும்
காதிலொர் குழையுடைக் கயிலையாரும்
ஆதியா ரூரெந்தை யானைக்காவே.


He, first supreme being whom Vishnu and Brahma, could not know and the one in Mahēṉtram, who is praised by the Vēdas, and one who has on one ear a men's ear-ring, and our father in Ārūr, is the first supreme being dwelling in Āṉaikkā.

Verse  10:

அறிவி லமண்புத்த ரறிவுகொள்ளேல்
வெறியமான் கரத்தாரூர் மயேந்திரரும்
மறிகட லோனயன் றேடத்தானும்
அறிவரு கயிலையோ னானைக்காவே.


People of this world!  Do not pay heed to the knowledge of the Jains and Buddhists who have no good knowledge.  Siva who holds in his hands a deer with frightened looks is in Ārūr and Mahēṉtram and who is in Kailash, who could not be known by Vishnu who is sleeping in the ocean which has rolling waves, and Brahma, when both searched his head and feet is in Āṉaikkā.

Verse 11:


ஏனமா லயனவர் காண்பரியார்
கானமார் கயிலைநன் மயேந்திரரும்
ஆனவா ரூராதி யானைக்காவை
ஞானசம் பந்தன் றமிழ்சொல்லுமே.


Siva whom Vishnu who took the form of a boar and Brahma, who took the form of a swan could not find out. He who is Kailash which has many gardens, and in Mahēṉtram is in Āṉaikkā belonging to the supreme being who is in Ārūr.  People of the world!  Recite the Tamizh verses composed by Jnana Sambandhan.

Tiru Brahmapuram: (one of the names of Sirkazhi.)

Verse 1:

வரமதேகொளா வுரமதேசெயும் புரமெரித்தவன் பிரமநற்புரத்
தரனனாமமே பரவுவார்கள்சீர் விரவுநீள் புவியே.

Not putting to proper use the boons [received] from Siva, the Lord who burnt the cities which committed only violent acts.  The fame of the devotees who chant the names which do good of the Hara, who dwells in the good Brahmapuram*, will spread in the wide world.

Verse  2:

சேணுலாமதில் வேணுமண்ணுளோர் காணமன்றலார் வேணுநற்புரத்
தாணுவின்கழல் பேணுகின்றவ ராணியொத் தவரே.


The wall of fortification which rises into the sky to be utilized by the people of the celestial beings world like a ladder made of bamboo, to descend into this world and to be used by the people of the world to see heaven.  Those who cherish with love the feet of Thāṇu (Siva), who is in Vēṇupuram* full of fragrance, can be compared to the touch-needle which is used to test the fineness of gold.

Verse 3:

அகலமார்தரைப் புகலுநான் மறைக் கிகலியோர்கள்வாழ் புகலிமாநகர்ப்
பகல்செய்வோனெதிர்ச் சகலசேகர னகிலநா யகனே.


In the big city of Pukali* where Brahmins who won in the recitation of the four Vēdas, competing with each other, praised by the people of this wide world, is the Lord of all the world, and has the crescent moon who is opposed to the sun who creates the day, on his head.

Verse  4:

துங்கமாகரி பங்கமாவடுஞ் செங்கையானிகழ் வெங்குருத்திகழ்
அங்கணானடி தங்கையாற்றொழத் தங்குமோ வினையே.

The feet of the Lord of beautiful and benign looks who is eminent in Veṅkuru* and the Lord of red hands who killed the huge elephant to undergo suffering, will sins remain with the devotees who worship with their hands?

Verse  5:


காணியொண்பொருட் கற்றவர்க்கீகை யுடைமையோரவர் காதல்செய்யுநற்
றோணிவண்புரத் தாணியென்பவர் தூமதி யினரே.

Those who praise god as the touch-needle in fertile and good Tōṇipuram* which is loved by those who give lands and money to learned people possess pure minds.

Verse 6:


ஏந்தராவெதிர் வாய்ந்தநுண்ணிடைப் பூந்தணோதியாள் சேர்ந்தபங்கினன்
பூந்தராய்தொழு மாந்தர் மேனிமேற் சேர்ந்திரா வினையே.

Diseases and other sufferings will not attach to the bodies of people who worship Pūntarāy*, belonging to the Lord who has his half a lady with cool tresses, adorned with flowers, and a minute waist comparable to the serpent which holds on its heads the world.

Verse 7:


சுரபுரத்தினைத் துயர்செய்தாரகன் துஞ்சவெஞ்சினக் காளியைத்தருஞ்
சிரபுரத்துளா னென்னவல்லவர் சித்திபெற் றவரே.


To remove by death Tārakaṉ who inflicted suffering on the world belonging to Devas. (This Tārakaṉ is quite different from the brother of Sūrapadmaṉ.)  Those who can utter the name of the god in Sirapuram*, who created Kāḻi of cruel anger,  are people who have acquired the eight mystical powers.

Verse 8:

உறவுமாகியற் றவர்களுக்குமா நெதிகொடுத்துநீள் புவியிலங்குசீர்ப்
புறவமாநகர்க் கிறைவனேயெனத் தெறகிலா வினையே.

Acting as relations to poor people and granting them abundant wealth, if one says 'The Lord of the city of Puṟavam*, whose fame shines in the wide world' sins that come to inflict sufferings, will themselves die.

Verse  9:

பண்புசேரிலங் கைக்குநாதனன் முடிகள்பத்தையுங் கெடநெரித்தவன்
சண்பையாதியைத் தொழுமவர்களைச் சாதியா வினையே.

The origin of all things who is in Shaṇpai*, and the one who pressed down the ten beautiful heads of the ruler of Lanka, who did not possess any good quality,
sins will not afflict those who worship him.

Verse 10:

ஆழியங்கையிற் கொண்டமாலய னறிவொணாததோர் வடிவுகொண்டவன்
காழிமாநகர்க் கடவுணாமமே கற்றல்நற் றவமே.

The god who assumed a form which could not be known by Vishnu, who holds a discuss in his palm, and by Brahma. Learning to utter the name of the god who is in the big city of Kāzhi*, is itself equal to penance that will lead one from the bondage of birth.

Verse  11:

விச்சையொன்றிலாச் சமணர்சாக்கியப் பிச்சர்தங்களைக் கரிசறுத்தவன்
கொச்சைமாநகர்க் கன்புசெய்பவர் குணங்கள் கூறுமினே.

God who completely destroyed the mischief of the mad Buddhists, and Jains, who had no spiritual wisdom worth the name even in a small measure. People of this world!
Always praise the good qualities of people who fix their love on the big city of Kochai.*

Verse 12:

கழுமலத்தினுட் கடவுள்பாதமே கருதுஞானசம் பந்தனின்தமிழ்
முழுதும்வல்லவர்க் கின்பமேதரு முக்கணெம் மிறையே.

On those who are able to recite all the sweet Tamizh verses by Jnana Sambandhan,  who always thinks only about the feet of the god in Kazhumalam,*,  Lord of three eyes will bestow happiness only.
