Verse  8:

These songs are connected the breasts which are like pots and wear ornaments made of gold set with precious stones and smeared with musk, has the color of tender leaves, of the daughter of the mountain which has permanent and increasing brightness. These contain the names of Siva in Naḷḷāṟu who pressed down to crush Ravanan of ten faces who can be compared to himself in committing cruel acts.
iI these are consigned into the fire which is like lightning, these will not suffer any damage; it is truth.

Verse  9:

These songs are connected with the two breasts which can be only compared to each other and has heaviness and emit brilliance and swelling in size and has lactation, of the daughter of the mountain, who has the gracefulness of the peacock of the forest,
and these contain the names of Siva in Naḷḷāṟu who could not be known by Brahma and Hari - Vishnu. If these are consigned into the fire which has the nature of rising up they will suffer no damage, it is truth.

Arunachala Siva.

These songs are closely connected with the two breasts which were different and wonderful, precious stones and have lactation of the daughter of the ancient mountain and whose eyes are like the arrow, and these contain the names of Siva in Naḷḷāṟu who is far removed from the lies of Buddhists and Jains. If these are consigned into the ball of fire these will not suffer any damage; it is truth.

The songs were composed in the immediate presence of the King to be placed in the fire, by Jnana Sambandhan who had connection with the two breasts of the lady who has a small waist, and who is a native of the city of Kazhumalam which has good history;  those who are able to understand the meanings of the ten verses have no sufferings and are pure souls.

(These verses have been put into fire, when Sambandhar was having the 'anal vadam'
competition by throwing the leaves into fire, with Jains.  The leaves thrown by
Sambandhar did not get burnt and it was taken out as a green leaves*.  The Jains
threw into fire their leaves wherein it was written about their god. It got burnt and
and only charred leaves were taken out!) (* Hence these are called Pachai Padigam
that is, verses having green leaves.)

Padigam on Tiru Nallaru completed.

Tiru Vilamar:

Verse  1:

Siva has a forehead as beautiful as the crescent moon that shines; adding beauty in his head, has a cobra which has glittering gems being appropriate to his hand and make those have vision of him feel joy. The temple where the skillful husband of Uma dwells, with eyes that have compassion on devotees who worship his feet according to rules. It is Viḷamar, the fertile city which has extensive gardens.

Siva has the brilliance of the beautiful sun.  He is with a cobra which is glittering in the waist.  He has a chest on which he wears a superior gem which is like the sun and has color like that sun. He performs dance to the accompaniment of conch, Paṟai of great sound, flute and Muzhavu. If you speak about the place of Siva who has a battle-axe of hot rays, it is Viḷamar.

Siva burnt the forts which were as high as storeys.  He will chant the abstruse Vedas which have as their subject his greatness spread over them. He has many of this great conducts sung by his devotees. If we speak about the extensive city of Siva who has a form appropriate to the performance of dance having as the stage in the cremation ground when fire was burning, it is Viḷamar.

Having as a half Uma who speaks words as sweet as the music of the sweet Yazh which produced melody-types; those who worship his feet which wear sounding and moving foot ornaments will not be near their karmas  The Karmas will leave them of their own accord has the distinctive excellence of granting his grace when the immortals in heave praise him. Viḷamar is the fertile city of the spotless god who receives alms in a white skull.

He will receive alms that is given in each and every house. He has crescent moon which stays in his matted locks.  He has a neck beautified by the black color when he consumed the poison that rose in the roaring ocean to kill beings. To destroy the karmas of those who praise feet of Siva who burnt the forts which opposed him in battle to meet only with destruction.  Viḷamar is the fertile city of the god who has as his duty granting his grace.

Siva is realized by Agaman, which are his words, and which contain the four paths of reaching him. The four paths are Chariyai, Kiriyai, Yōgam and Jnanam.  He dwells in the words and minds of those who follow the path, Saivism.  He is another meaning, has a body in which the lady who is not separate from Siva is united closely with him.
He possesses many weapons as if he is practicing them. He has a cobra in whose hood there are many spots.  If it is the place of Siva who has on his matted locks in which many things are united, and fragrant flowers are adorned by his devotees, is Viḷamar.

Siva has a body in which he wears golden anklets, with which he pressed to cause wounds to the chief of the people of Lanka which has high walls of fortification and is beautified by the ocean on all sides, in the mountain Kailsh who has as a place a shining matted locks into which the water of Ganga  which normally reaches the strong sea enters. Viḷamar is the fertile city of the god in whose neck the poison which rose in the ocean which reaches the sky by its surging waves, is increasing in color.

Killing the Yama, god of death who inflicts suffering on beings to destroy the service to god, and who came to take away the life of Markaṇdēyaṉ and commanding him to act according to orders, coming near god.  He who assumed the form of fire that cannot be seen, to frighten the two persons, Vishnu and Brahma.  If we speak about the place of Siva who has a neck resembling the sable cloud, is Viḷamar which has gardens which pour fragrant honey from flowers on which the swarms of bees open the petals and hum like music.

There are many languages in this world spoken of as such to which intellectuals pay homage and praise them.  The Jains who stole from other religions words for their doctrines from those languages and Buddhists who carry an ascetic's pitcher are incapable of knowing what penance is devotees, do not think the words of those people as truth. Regard with love the fertile city of Viḷamar of Siva who adorns his matted locks with a white crescent moon.
