Context and Meaning:

The verse is on Siva of the temple at Tirveezhimizhalai. The names of the god and

was dealt with.

He is having a coupina on His waist.  He is riding on an old bull.
He is stayin in the temple of Tiruveezhimizhalai, which is having orchards and gardens,

with flowers in their hands for placing on you.

devotees of Him and the place shines with the devotees.

The following verse and the decad (Padigam) has been composed and
sung by Jnana Sambandhar and this is in Saiva Canon 1.39.  The temple
is called Tiruvetkalam.  This is in Chozha Kingdom near the present Thanjavur.

Siva - Pasupatheswarar

Uma - Nalla Nayaki Ammai.

தண்மதியம் மயலே ததும்ப
வெந்தவெண் ணீறு மெய்பூசும்
வேட்கள நன்னக ராரே.

He is the beginning and end of everything (and is even beyond). He is
of the hue of fire.  He carries on His palm, fire.  He dances with drums
beating, and Uma, the daughter of Himavan witnessing the dance. On
His matted locks of hair are the smiling skulls, Ganga, and cool crescent moon.
He is ever seen with white holy ashes and He is in Tiruvetkalam.

Arunachala Siva.
