The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by mTiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of TiruvaiyaaRu.  This is in 4.040 of Saiva Canon:

The location of the temple, the names of Siva and Uma and the holy tree, the holy tirtham -- all these
details have been given in the first Padigam on TiruvaiyaaRu, see this serial post elsewhere.

For the Father who is in TiruvaiyaaRu, there is no world except Himself -Siva.  There are no devotees except
the people of this world. He does not dance except in the cremation ground. There is no other grace except
Sivalokam for those who think about Him.  There is no other vehicle except the Bull for riding along with
the lady goddess, of distinction who has long tresses of hair.

Arunachala Siva.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar on Siva,
in the temple of TiruvaiyaaRu. This comes in 4.039 of Saiva Canon:

The Padigam under 4.040 has been given earlier to this Padigam by oversight.

The location of the temple, the names of Siva and Uma, the holy tree, the holy tritham -- all these details
have been given in the first Padigam on TiruvaiyaaRu see elsewhere in this serial post.

I was spending time, as a fool, with Jains and had only delusion as my experience. O the Light! The One who
shows only the Pure Path! O Lord of the devas!  The Lion among the gods. Now,  I have come to you, to TiruvaiaaRu.
I, your servant will hereafter pray only to your feet and sing and roam about!

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruch Chotruthurai. This is in 4.041 of Saiva Canon:

This temple is in TiruvaiyaaRu taluk, Thanjavur District. One can go by bus from Thanjavur.

Siva - Tholaiyaach Chelvar, the treasure which is ever available without loss.

Uma - Oppilambikai, One who has no equal.

Holy tree - Konrai tree.

Holy tritham -  Kaveri river, Soorya tirtham, a tank.

Siva in Tiruch Chotruthurai,  where in the fertile fields murrel fish frisk!  Having wasted my life thinking the body
which is unreal as a real thing, I am not having a mind which is united with truth. O the one who revealed the Vedas!
You chant the Vedas!  I became weary with this body that is tossed by the five organs of sense.

Arunachala Siva.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruth Thuruthi.  This is in 4.042 of Saiva Canon:

This temple is also called Kuttalam, and this one is different from KuRRalam where there are waterfalls.

This temple is in Mayiladuthurai taluk, Nagappattinam district.  One can go by bus from Nagappattinam
or Mayilaudthurai.

Siva - Kalyana Sundareswarar.

Uma - Parimala Sugantha Nayaki,  one who is naturally fragrant in her body.

Holy tree - Kuttalam tree.

Holy tirtham - Padma, Sundara two tanks and Kaveri.

People of this world!  Do not think as  real this body which is the combination of several matters. Praise the Master
always fixing Him permanently in your minds. What a wonder that I, who am very low, saw the light in Tiruth Thuruthi,
who, placed within the matted locks,  a lady Ganga, and another lady, the goddess, on one half.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruk Kacchi Mel Thali.  This is in 4.043 of Saiva Canon:

The temple is in Kanchipuram (Kacchi).  Here there are more five temples for Siva.  This is called
Tiruk Kacchi Mel Thali.

One can go by bus or by autorickshaw from the town to reach the temple.

Siva - Mel Thali Nathar.

Uma - Mel Thali Nayaki.

Holy tree - Mango Tree.

Holy tirtham -  Vishnu Tirtham.

Siva leads a life of wandering from house to house to receive alms, singing Vedas.  He has poison in the neck, and
on the matted locks,  coiled into a crown wearing a crescent moon and  the lady Ganga who wears bangles on her
hands. He is in the big city of Tiruk Kacchi.  The Lord who pervades everywhere, is in Mel Thali, where music and
dance are prominent.

Arunachala Siva.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva, in the
temple of Tiruk Kacchi Ekambam, another temple in Kanchipuram.  This is in 4.044 of Saiva Canon:

The location of the temple is in Kanchipuram.

Siva - Thazhuvak Kuzhaintha Nathar, one who melted when embraced.

Uma - Elavaar Kuzhali, one with good tresses of hair.

Holy tree -  Mango Tree.

Holy tirtham - Kamba river.

I wake up from sleep thinking of Siva who is desired by all.  He  has an arrow on which He fixed His look to make
all the three cities to be consumed by fire and the demons in them to be afraid of Him. He is the nectar that
grants immortality, for those who are in the right path.  He is in Ekambam in Kanchipuram, which has beautiful
gardens.  He is the God who has on His red matted locks, a white crescent moon spreading rays.  He is the superior
gold and a pillar of coral.

Arunachala Siva.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva, in the
temple of Tiruvotriyur. This is in 4.045 of Saiva Canon:

This temple is in outskirts of Chennai city.  One can go by bus from Chennai city.

Siva - Patambakka Nathar.

Uma - Vadivudai Ammai.

Holy tree -Magizha tree.

Holy tirtham -  Brahma tirtham, a tank.

People of this world!  If you want to reach the feet of the Lord who sang the Vedas and who placed the flood of the
Ganga on His head, patiently listen to the way by which you can attain them.  Being united in the body of those who
have burnt with the help of the Fire of Spiritual Wisdom which grants the ultimate reality, all evil thoughts, the King of
Tiruvotriyur is the light in the hearts of such people.

The following verse and the Padigam has also been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva
in the temple of Tiruvotriyur.  This is in 4.046 of Saiva Canon.

The temple is in Chennai city as mentioned in the previous verse.

I nourished my body without any benefit, having in my mind cruel thoughts. I am unable to fulfill what I desire
like the ladle which has no handle cannot take anything.  Protecting me who thinks of many things like the frog
caught in the mouth of the cobra,  you admit me to save me. You are the Lord who has Tiruvotriyur as His place!

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tirunavukkarasar, on Siva,
on Sri Kailash.  This is in 4.047 of Saiva Canon:

Sri Kailash is in Tibet area in Himalayas,  One can go up to Hrishikesh and from their go up to the foot hills
of Kailash.  One has to then walk or go horseback to reach the mountain.   It is also called Nodiththaan Malai.

The saint could not go up to Kailash due to old age and body ailments and wounds. Siva gave him Kailash
darshan by asking him to bathe at a tank near TiruvaiyaaRu and on rising after bath, the saint had Kailash
darshan!

Siva - Kailasa Nathar.

Uma - Parvathi.

Holy tirtham - Ganga river.

After seeing the Kailash, which has gold, big diamonds, and other eminent, and big gems, this mean person become
blissful. When the demon Ravana lifted the mountain running towards it, Siva who is without sin fixed His toe firmly
the he fell down roaring.  If He has fixed His toe with the intention of killing him, one could not see him again alive.
(However Ravana was not killed but was forgiven for his sin.)

Arunachala Siva.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruvaip Padi.  This is in 4.048 of Saiva Canon:

This temple is in Tiruvidai Maruthur taluk, Thanjavur district.  One can go by bus from Thanjavur or Tiruvidai
Maruthur.

Siva - Pal Ugantha Nathar, one who loved milk for naivedyam or abhishekam.

Uma -  Periya Nayaki.

Holy tree - Aathi Tree.

Holy tirtham - Dheera Kundam, a tank.

Being Himself the seven oceans, the air, the space that pervades everywhere, the life in the bodies of all beings,
and the bright fire, and the cool moon, the fragrant garland made from big flowers, and the sun. Siva who stays permanently in Tiruvaip Padi, is the one who wears Konraii flowers whose petals are unfolded.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruk Kurukkai, Veerasthanam. This is in 4.049 of Saiva Canon:

The temple is called Tiruk Kurukkai Veerasthanan. Veerasthanam means the place where Siva did one of His
eight holy sports.  Here He burnt Manmatha, god of love who tried to disturb His meditation.

The temple is in Mayiladuthurai taluk, Nagappattinam district.  One can go by bus from Mayiladuthurai or
Nagappattinam.

Siva -  Veerasthaneswarar.

Uma - Jnanambika.

Holy tree - Kadukkai tree.

Holy tirtham - Soola tirtham, Jnana tirtham, two tanks.

Brahma  performed worship at the feet of the Lord by scattering flowers and uttering His names at the beginning
of creation.  Siva understood it so that Brahma who chanted the Vedas can be conscious of it  The Lord in
Kurukkai Veerasthanam, which has gardens where the bees hum with great noise, having worked through many
flowers for gathering honey appearing as the light of happiness in the effulgent light of spiritual illumination.
He transcends words that try to describe Him.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruk Kurukkai Veerasthanam. This is in 4.050 of Saiva Canon:

The location of the temple, the names of Siva and Uma, the holy tree, the holy tirtham -- all these details
have been given in the earlier Padigam on Tiruk Kurukkai Veerasthanam, see elsewhere in this serial post.

The tall Vishnu and Brahma could not see the feet and head as water gushed out as at the time of the destruction
of the world, when he went digging into the nether world Vishnu could not see the feet and Brahma could not see
the head the God in Tiruk Kurukkai Veerasthanam.  Disguising Himself as a hunter having a small drum tapering in
the middle, He taught many sacred mantrams  and gave Arjuna, an arrow, bow and a tall chariot adorned with flags.

golden matted locks, the One who drank the poison that rose in the sea one who set fire to all the three cities of
enemies, the One who has only good qualities without faults, the King of Tiruk Kodikka!

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruvarur. This is in 4.052 of Saiva Canon:

Among the three temples of Tiruvarur, this is called Tiruvarur Moolasthanam, Poon Kovil.

The location of the temple, the holy names of Siva and Uma, the holy tree, the holy tirtham -- all these details
have been given in the first Padigam on Tiruvarur Poon Kovil see elsewhere in this serial post.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar on Siva, in the temple

The location of the temple, the names of Siva and Uma, the holy tree, the holy tirtham - all these details

O the Lord in Tirup Pugalur!,  the King of the devasr, who burnt the three forts of the enemies to fall down as

which have mastery over me to make me do their bidding, daily oppressing my body I became perplexed.
What can I do?
