The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruth Thuruthi. This is in 4.042 of Saiva Canon:
This temple is also called Kuttalam, and this one is different from KuRRalam where there are waterfalls.
This temple is in Mayiladuthurai taluk, Nagappattinam district. One can go by bus from Nagappattinam
or Mayilaudthurai.
Siva - Kalyana Sundareswarar.
Uma - Parimala Sugantha Nayaki, one who is naturally fragrant in her body.
Holy tree - Kuttalam tree.
Holy tirtham - Padma, Sundara two tanks and Kaveri.
People of this world! Do not think as real this body which is the combination of several matters. Praise the Master
always fixing Him permanently in your minds. What a wonder that I, who am very low, saw the light in Tiruth Thuruthi,
who, placed within the matted locks, a lady Ganga, and another lady, the goddess, on one half.
Arunachala Siva.
