The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruvdigai.  This is in 4.024 of Saiva Canon:

Tiruvdigai is called Veerasthanam that is, the temple is built on or near the cremation ground.

Veerasthanam also means the place, where one of the eight heroic sports of Siva had happened.
Here, Siva burnt Tirupura with a smile.

The location of the temple, the names of Siva, and Uma and the holy tree and the holy tirtrham --
all these details have been given in the Padigam of Tiruvadigai Veerasthanam, see elsewhere in
this serial post.

Siva, the Lord of the universe, who covered Himself with an elephant`s skin, wet with blood, which is black
in color like iron.  When there was already a beautiful lady, the goddess, of sweet words like juice of the sugar-cane,
on His left form,  He is Adigai Veerasthanam. He has on His head buds blossoming and they received the water-drops
of Ganga on which bees swarm.

in the temple of Tiruvadigai Veerasthanam.  This is in Saiva Canon 4.025.

  அதிகைவீ ரட்ட னாரே.

Placing the crescent moon which sheds a white light to be united with the loosened matted locks, staying, having
entered into the mind to be permanent revealing Himself to the soul which is intelligence itself, Siva is in Meeyachur,
which reaches the sky by its fame.  He is near at hand to those who cherish Him with love.  He is the God,
Siva, in Tiruvadigai Veerasthanam.   Veerasthanam  is very far away only to people who do not cherish Him with love.

The following verse and the Padigam, has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,

God who is desired by all! our King! Master!  One who has on one half the lady goddess, who has a visible form
and is the cause of all things. The supreme Yogi!.  Praying daily thus in the second person without ceasing,
many times, the devotees attain bliss.  O Superior Gold! The Hill formed of coral! My companion!  Siva in
Tiruvadigai Veerasthanam!  To have a vision of your shining feet which are like lotus flowers,  I suffered much.

O the Lord in Tiruvadigai Veerasthanam!

The following verse and the Padigam, has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar on
Siva, in the temple of Tiruch Chempon Palli. This is in Saiva Canon 4.029:

This temple is in Tramnquebar taluk, Nagappattinam district.  One can go  by bus from Nagappattinam,
Karaiksal, Tiruvarur, and Thanjavur to reach this temple.

Siva -  Swarnapureeswarar.

Uma - Maruvarkuzhili, the one who has got locks of tresses, smelling with fragrance.

Holy tree- Vanni tree.

Holy tirtham - indra tirtham, a tank and Kaveri river.

Indra had sins for having killed Vriddhaswara, the demon,  He came here to pray to
Siva, to wipe out his sins. Sage Vaishtar prayed to Siva here.  Daksha who did a yagna, to which he did
not invite Siva, got killed.  He prayed to Siva here for getting back the birth.

Siva is easily accessible to those who have spiritual wisdom by undergoing austerities and mortifying the soul
within the body. The deceitful person cannot know Him, like the celestial beings who live in heaven.
In the minds of those who have the spiritual wisdom about Siva who are clear in their minds that when ego
raises its head, knowledge of Siva will be concealed, unless the case of pious people.
Siva in Tiruchempon Palli is like honey and the sweet nectar.

Arunachala Siva.

  தாமரை மலரும் வைத்தார்
கங்கையைச் சடையுள் வைத்தார்
  கழிப்பாலைச் சேர்ப்ப னாரே.

He is in this town, which is the chief of the maritime trade and is called Kaziippaalai.  He kept an eminent lady as
