Verse 8 of Papanasa Tirup Padigam, Saiva Canon, 4.015:

The moon that wakes daily and rises in the evening, the bridegroom who dwells in Tirumaraik Kaadu,(Vedaranyam),
the God who is as sweet as the sweet juice of the sugar-cane crushed in the sugar-mill,  Our Chief in Annamalai,
the unshakable God, who dwells with desire in Thurutti*, which has gardens, and who is shining like the Sun,
I swallowed the God of the celestial beings, who live above, liking Him.

*refers to Tirup Poonthurutti.

Arunachala Siva.

Verse 9 of Papanasa Tirup Padigam, Saiva Canon 4.015:

Our Light divine,  in Tiruch Chotru thurai, the flawless gem that dwells in Tiruth thurutti, the Father in Tirup Pazhanam,
which is on the bank of the river Kaveri,  our rare gem in Tiruvaalavai, (Aalavaai is Madurai), our mild light of the moon
in Tru Neythanam, which has strong and erect shoulders which are brilliant with sacred ash, the lion that can destroy the ocean of births.  I worshipped with joined hands His shoulders to the complete satisfaction of my eyes.

path. the primordial God who is in Podhiyil,  I placed in my mind on the nectar that is Tiruvaamaathur.

Verse 11 of Papanasa Tiruppadigam, Saiva Canon 4.015.

Siva, who came into existence of His own free will before everything, (as the causeless cause.), who rode on a strong
white bull, who has a body like the evening red sky, who destroyed the might of the demon, Ravana.  Bathing Siva.
with flood of water which is love that flows from the mind, attaching the garlands of words in their primary significance,
at His feet, the sins of those who say "Our Father, our God, our Master", will definitely meet with destruction.

Papanasa Tirup Padigam   -- concluded

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar, on Siva,
in the temple of Tirup Pugalur.  This is in Saiva Canon 4.016.

This temple is in Nagappattinam taluk, Nagappattinam district.  One can go by bus from Nagappattinam
or Vardhamaneswaram to reach this temple.

Siva- Vardhamaneswarar.

Uma - Karunthaal Kuzhali ammai. (one who has long falling dark tresses.)

Holy tree - Punnai tree.

Holy tirtham -  Agni tritham, a tank.

He is Siva, the one having a twisted matted locks,  who is in Pugalur, and He is red in color, He wears a white
sacred thread, holds in His hand the young one of a black antelope which is frisking. He has tied in His leg a
sounding Kazhal, (anklets) and He is the true object to those who stand firm in the true path.  He is the false
thing to those who are not like those mentioned above.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on Siva,
in the temple of Tiruvarur, AraneRi.  This is in Saiva Canon, 4.017.

This temple is in Tiruvarur taluk,  Tiruvarur district.  It is actually in Tiruvarur town.  One can go to
Tiruvarur from Thanjavur or Kumbakonam.

Siva - Akileswarar.

Uma - Akileswari.

Holy tree - Padiri tree.

Holy tirtrham - Kamalalaym, a tank.

Siva,  in AraneRi has a beautiful color like the fire.  He is holding a trident having three blades like the three
sacrificial fires.  He will be moving within me making a sound resembling 'tette'.  No harm will come to us even
if we enter into any kind of fire.

The following verse and the Padigam is a general decade. This is called Visham teerntha Padigam, a decade
composed and sung to remove the poison.

It is composed and sung by Tiru Navukkarasar,on Siva, in the temple of Thingalur, near TiruvaiyaaRu.
This is in 4.018 of Saiva Canon.

When the son of Appoothi Adigal, (who considered Tiru Navukkarasar, as his guru and he even named his
sons as Tirunavukkarasar, and he named even the food choultry after Tirunavukkarasu, and even the free water
stalls after Tiru Navukkarasar.) was cutting plantain leaves for the sake of the saint's feeding, and he was
bitten by a snake.  The saint took the body to the temple and placing it before Siva, he prayed to Siva with the
following verses and the dead boy came back alive!

The verses 1 to 10 describe Siva's aspects, from one to ten, keeping these numbers in each verse in that order.

I propose to give all the ten verses, with English meanings.

Verse 1 of Visham teerntha Padigam:

One is the high mountain that rises high like His mind is Kailash.  He wears one crescent moon that is increasing
in greatness.  He has in His hand one white skull in which alms are placed. The vehicle on which He rides is
one  bull.

Verse 2 of Visham teerntha Padigam, Saiva Canon, 4.018:

The feet (which are too), which the celestial beings, who do not wink, worship with joined hands.
The two ornaments worn in the ears are a men`s thOdu, ear ring, and a womans` kuzhai,  ear-ring.  the male
and female are His two forms. A young deer and a pick-axe are the two things that He obtained.

Arunachala Siva.

His eyes including the third eye on the forehead are three. The strong blades of His trident are three in number.
The three things, arrow, bow and bowstring are in His hands.  The cities on which He discharged an arrow are three.

His faces are four in number.  The coming into existence of beings that are born are four in number, viz.,
Viviperous animals, Lives that sprout or germinate from seeds, roots, twigs etc., plant life, and sweat born
lives, like lice.  The feet of His vehicle, bull, are four in number.  The Veda-s, that He chanted are four.
