This is composed and sung along with the decad, by Jnana Sambandhar, in Saiva Canon1. (Verse 1.23.2).
The decad is on Siva temple in Tirukkolakka.

பெண்டான் பாகமாகப் பிறைச் சென்னி
கொண்டான் கோலக் காவு கோயிலாக்
கண்டான் பாதங் கையாற் கூப்பவே
உண்டான் நஞ்சை உலக முய்யவே.

Context and Meaning:

Tirukkolakka is on the southern banks of Kaveri river. It is near Sirkazhi. Sages Agasthya and Kanva prayed to Siva here.

Siva:  Saptha pureeswarar.

Uma: Osai kotuththa nayaki.(the One who gave sound).

Holy Tree:  konrai.

Holy Waters:  Ananda tirtham.

When Tiru Jnana Sambandhar was given cymbals made of gold by Siva here.  Since pure gold would not make any
sound, the goddess Uma conferred the sound on the cymbals. Hence the goddess is called Osai kotutha nayaki,
the One who gave sound.

He is having Uma on the left of His form. He is wearing crescent moon on His crown.  He is staying in Tirukkolakka.
The devas pray to His feet. And so He took the hala hala poison and saved the devas and others.

Arunachala Siva.

Siva here.  7)  Sirapuram - Rahu prayed here.  8) Puravam - The emperor Sibhi got his salvation, when he offered his flesh to a

The sage Parasara prayed to Siva when the shame of his lusting the lady Machakandhi was tormenting him.  12)  Kazhumalam -
The Sage Roma prayed to Siva to snap his three evils, karma, maya and maya.

He is wearing konrai flowers in His locks.  He is having thread like matted locks. When devas sought Him to save them
from the Tripura demons, Siva smiled towards the Tripura and burnt the three demons and their forts.
He is in Sirkazhi hearing the sweet words of devotees.

Context and Meaning:

Uma and Lakshmi prayed to Siva here.  Siva is said to have removed the thorns and the teeth of Mahavishnu when
he came as Varaha Avatara, (the form of a wild boar) and wore them on His neck.

Siva: Sri ThaLeeswarar, Puthureeswarar.

Uma: Sivakami Amma.

Holy Waters: Sivaganga and Tiruth thaLi theertham.

In the hot summer when the flowers bloom the orchards and gardens are filled with nice fragrance. The gardens are also
having the flow of honey, from the flowers and the bees swarm the gardens to take the honey.  Siva took away the
thorns and teeth of Varaha (enam in Tamizh) and made the latter's anger to subside.  He wore these thorns and teeth

Context and Meaning:

This place/temple is on the northern bank of Kaveri river, in Chozha country. (near present day Chidambaram).
Brahma, Indra, Moon God, Sun God, Agni, Sage Agasthya, Patanjali and the  seven damsels (Saptha Kanyan)
prayed to Siva here.

In Nandanar's life story, when the seeker was proceeding to Chidambaram, on the way, he wanted to Siva
of Tirupunkur.  Here since he could not enter the temple (he being of low caste), Siva wanted the Nandi the Bull
in front of Him to move away, so that Nandanar could see Siva from the distance on the street.  Here Nandanar also
dug a tank and it is said that Vinayaka helped him in the work.

Siva: Sivaloka Nathar.

Uma: Chokka Nayaki.

Holy Tree: punga tree.

Holy Waters:  Ganapathi tirtham.

The gods Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra do their jobs of creation, sustenance and destruction of the world and the living
beings as per His (Siva's_ command.  All the devas pray to Him, since He is the first and eternal Principle. He
burnt the Tripura, the three cities and the demons inside, without even using an arrow, but merely by smiling at
the Tripura. (Let us pray to Him).
