This is the Verse 4 of KOLaRu Padigam:-

Our Lord Siva accompanied by Parvathi (who has a beautiful forehead like crescent moon) sits under a banyan
tree and teaches the Vedas. He wears Ganga river and garland of KonRai flowers on His head. He has entered
my heart and dwells there. Therefore, Time - Kalan, god of death, Fire god, Agni, Yama and his messengers,
and various deadly diseases are very good, in the sense that they would not afflict the Siva devotees. They are very good to the devotees indeed. They are very good to the devotees indeed.

Arunachala Siva.

Our Father Siva has a (dark) throat adorned by the poison. He rides on a Bull accompanied by Parvathi.
He wears Vanni leaves (Indian Mesquite) and Konrai flowers (Indian Laburnum) on his head. He has entered
my heart and dwells there. Therefore, dreadfully angry demons, roaring thunder, lightning, and all the
elements will be afraid (of us) and be very good. They are very good to the devotees indeed.

Arunachala Siva.

Siva has Parvathi (who has beautiful copper colored breasts) as one half of His body. He is the source of all
good things. He wears on His head the beautiful young crescent moon and the Ganga river.  He has entered
my heart and dwells there. Therefore, all kinds of fevers, chills, and diseases that are caused by imbalance
of bodily fluids, etc. will not cause any trouble. They are very good. They are very good to the devotees
indeed.

Long ago, Siva opened His third eye and burnt Manmathan (god of love) down. He wears bright crescent moon,
Vanni leaves (Indian Mesquite), and Konrai flowers (Indian Laburnum). He is seated on a bull with Parvathi.
He has entered my heart and dwells there. Therefore, we will have no troubles from Ravana, (the king of Lanka
surrounded by the seven seas, i.e.demons like him, and other afflictions. The deep sea will be very good. They
are very good to the devotees indeed.

Siva, the Supreme Being, assumes many forms. He is the Ardha-nArisvara, with Parvathi as one half of His body.
He rides on a Bull. He wears Ganga river and Erukku flower (crown flower - Calotropis gigantea) on His head.
He has entered my heart and dwells there. Therefore, Brahma (who is seated on the lotus flower), Vishnu, Vedas,
Devas, the future, the seas, the Meru mountain, etc. will be very good. They are very good to the devotees indeed.

Siva took the form of a hunter and went with Parvathi (who wears bunches of flowers on her curly hair) to bestow
His grace on Arjuna. He wears Unmatham flowers, crescent moon, and cobra on His head. He has entered my
heart and dwells there. Therefore, Lord's holy ash will defeat the Buddhists and the Jainas in the debates.
Its greatness is certain. All will be very good. They are very good to the devotees indeed.

Verse 11 of KOLaRu Padigam:-

Brahmapuram derives its name from Brahma (who worshipped there). It has many groves full of bees
with fragrance.  Sugarcane and excellent rice varieties grow in plenty. Its abundant wealth is seen everywhere.
The sage Jnana Sambandhan, who knows both divine and non-divine knowledge hails from that town.
He has sung this garland of words to dispel the ill effects caused by planets, stars, and other such things so that
the devotees do not suffer. Those devotees who chant this Padigam will rule the heavens. It is Our command!

or Chidambaram.

Siva -  Soundareswarar.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on Siva
in the temple of Tiru Naraiyoor  Siddheeswaram.  This is in 2.87 of Saiva Canon.

The location of the temple, names of Siva and Uma, the holy tree, the holy tirtham, -- all these details have
been given in the first Padigam of the temple -- see this serial post elsewhere.

Siva is such a minute thing as not to be visible, at the same time He is visible. He has on one half of his body Hari.
He is light whose beginning could not be known. The spotless god who is water, moving air, the sky pervading
everywhere, and the very hot fire. Eating to be praised by all the worlds, desiring the alms given in the villages.
That Siva is who is able to dance with the lady being in one half, in the cremation ground in the days past,
is also in Naraiyoor.

This Tirumullaivaayil where, after over-drinking the essence of the honey which is found in lotuses growing
in fields and gardens affording increasing delight, the winged bees hum. Having over-drunk the drops of poison.
the Lord who has a neck which turned black, that brilliant light is always dancing, with Uma as His half. He who
is lustre being limitless went beyond the world of the celestial beings. The place of our Haran, Siva.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on Siva
in the temple of Kocchaivayam, another name for Sirkazhi.  This is in 2.89. Saiva Canon.

The location of the temple, the names of Siva and Uma, the holy tree and the holy tirtham -- all these details

He wears on the His matted locks, a dancing cobra, a crescent in addition to the sounding beautiful water,
Ganga. He has the lady goddess  on the left of His form. He resides in Kocchaivayam where brahmins who
are without wants, and where the great sound produced by the chanting of the Vedas and sacrifices performed
with mantram, are never ceasing.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on Siva in
the temple of Tiru Nelvaayil (Arathurai).  This is in 2.90 of Saiva Canon.

This is the temple/place where Jnana Sambandhar was conferred with a pearl palanquin and a pearl umbrella,
to take rest from walking and to ward of the hot sun.

The temple is in Thittakkudi taluk, Cuddalore district.  One can go by bus from Vriddachalam or Cuddalore.

Siva - Arathurai Nathar.

Uma - Soundara Nayaki.

Holy tree -Banyan tree.

Holy tirtham -  Nivaa river. ( a rivulet)

Pushing big fragrant flowers on the bank of the river Nivaa in which swift water is increasing. The grace of the God
in the temple Arathurai,  in Nelvayil which has beautiful and cool gardens is ever there. Praising Siva as our father,
Lord of the universe, our Lord and who is seated on a bull gives His grace. Except for those who meditated on Him
in the above-mentioned manner, approaching Him proper is difficult.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on Siva in the temple
of Tiru Maraikkadu.  This is in 2.91. of Saiva Canon.

This is in Vedaranyam taluk, Nagappattinam district. One can go by bus from Vedaranyam or Nagappattinam.

Siva - Vedaranyeswarar.

Uma - Yazhai Pazhittha Mozhi ammai. (one whose speech is like Yazh, (a Violin like instrument) music

Holy tree - Vanni tree.

Holy tirtham - the sea; Veda tirtham.

Siva who dwells in Maraikkadu,  of great noise where the pearls that come crawling on the waves in the sea
which dash against the shore are lying in the sea-shore garden which has increasing white sand, emitting rays
to remove darkness at night. Though He wears a crescent moon and though He burnt the three cities,
everywhere our Lord has no despicable reproach except fame.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on Siva
in the temple of Tirup Pugalur - Vardhamaneeswaram.  This is in 2.92 of Saiva Canon.

The temple is near Tiruk KaNNapuram, in Nagappattinam taluk, Nagappattinam district. One can go by bus from Nagappattinam or Tiruk KaNNapuram.

The temple is Tiru Pugalur - Vardhamaneeswaram. There is one more temple called Tirup Pugalur
nearby.

Siva - Vardhamaneswarar.

Uma - Karunthaazh Kuzhali Ammai. (one with dark, down flowing locks of hair.)

Holy tree - Punnai tree.

Holy tirtham -  Agni tirtham.

Siva wears a plate of gold and a crescent as white as milk; bore sparkling water on his spreading matted locks.
the temple in which the chief who dances at midnight dwells here with love. This is in Pugalur, where birds play
with their females. This is Vardhamaneeswaram,  where devotees praise and surround Him on a circle and pay
obeisance to His feet.
