The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on Siva
in the temple of Tiru NaNaa. This is in 2.72 of Saiva Canon.

The temple is in Bhavani mukkoodal taluk, in Erode district. One can go by bus from Erode or Bhavani.

Siva - Chanka muka Nathar.

Uma - Vedanayaki Ammai.

Holy tree - Ilandhai tree.

Holy tirtham - Bhavani mukkoodal that is confluence of Kaveri.

He is the consort of the lady with playing ball on Her fingers. He is wearing serpents on  His matted locks and uses
the Bull as His vehicle. He is also wearing on His body. He, like a human being, stays in Tiru NaNa where the
drizzles of rains always fall and the female monkey dances in the drizzle. There are gardens with bees swarming
and drinking the honey from the flowers. And the mango fruits, with the layer of honey fall from the trees.

The following verse and the Padigam has been composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on Siva
on the temple of Tirup Brahmapuram, another name for Sirkazhi.  This is in 2.74 of Saiva Canon.

The location of the temple, the names of Siva and Uma, the holy tree, the holy temple, --- all these details
have been given in the first Padigam of Sirkazhi see elsewhere in this serial post.

This verse and the Padigam are in Tiruch Chakkara Matru, that is, names of the temple come in rotation,
in each verse, and the order is changed in each verse.

Kocchai, Kazhumalam, all names referring to Sirkazhi.  He is the one who burnt Manmatha with His eye on
the forehead.

The following verse and the Padigam are of general nature, composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar on
Siva.  This is in 2.85 of Saiva Canon.

This is called KOLaRu Padigam, a decade of eleven verses composed and sung by Tiru Jnana Sambandhar when
he was to take a visit to Madurai to debate with the Jainas and also to cure the Pandyan King - Koon Pandyan,
a king who was a hunch back and was also suffering from colic pain not cured by Jainas. When Tiru Navukkarasar
who had already suffered in the hands of Jainas said to the child saint not to go, particularly when the planets
were not in good positions.

Tiru Jnana Samandhar says:  The planets and their positions will do no harm at all to Siva devotees.
He also mentions the stars that are said to be inauspicious and one should not undertake any travel or
even good work on the days of these stars.

So saying the child saint proceeded to Madurai and withstood all the ill doings of Jainas, and cured Pandyan
King and later also debated with Jainas and won over them,

It is recommended by scholars that one should do chant these verses when one believes that he is in
the midst of the bad planetary junctions or on those days when the star day comes. In temples one
should chant this Padigam when one comes round the navagrahas.(the idols of nine planets.)

I have already given the first Padigam and its meaning when I started this serial post.  Here is the second
verse.

Ornaments such as bones, hog`s tusk, and the cover of a tortoise to shine in the chest, riding on a bull, with
the lady. the goddess, on the left of His form, since that Sivaṉ has already entered into my mind, wearing a
garland of unmaththam flowers which have inside them gold.

The ninth star, Ayiliyam the tenth star, Magham the sixteenth star, Vīchakam the 18th star, Jyeshta, the sixth star,
Ardra,  other stars, Bharaṇi, Kartigai, Pubba, Chaitra, Swati, Pooradam and Poorattadhi are exceedingly good with love. They are good to all Siva devotees indeed. They are good to all Siva devotees indeed.

I would love to give the remaining verses and English meanings also.

This is the 3rd verse of KOLaRu Padigam. Verse 2 has been given today. Verse 1 had been given on the opening
of this serial post.

Siva has a beautiful coral like red body that is smeared with bright holy ash. He wears fragrant KonRai flowers
and the moon on His head. He rides on a white bull with Parvathi. He entered my heart and dwells there.
Therefore, all deities such as Lakshmi (goddess of wealth), Durga (goddess of victory), mother Earth, and
guardians of the various quarters, ashta dik balakas, are good like rare wealth. They are very good to the
devotees indeed.
