Is SatChitAnanda and the Self the same?

I just found this forum and I have a question. I hope this is the right sub-forum. The Self is described as that which doesn't come and go. And then there is talked about SatChitAnanda. Is this the same? Or does these qualities also come and go and are somehow more like the perfume of the Self, not seperate but not identical? Can someone explain if SatChitAnanda comes and goes? Thank you.

Sat-chit-ananda is a description for Brahman.Sat means eternal Truth .It cannot come and go.It is a description that characterizes Brahman;as such these are not qualities or attributes as Brahman is attributeless.I recommend the following article on Tattriya upanishad by Swami Krishnananda:
