Dear Prasanth,

I have read only two or three Sankara Vijayam books.  One is Tamizh Sankara Vijayam by one Bharaneetharan.  The other one
is Sankara Vijayam by Rangantha Sarma in English.  The third one is exclusive references to Sri Sankara by Das Gupta in
his 4-volume Story of Indian Philosophy.  Further I heard the CD of Nochur and then I took some notes as I was hearing
his talk, and included some of the interesting aspects in my posts.

There are said to be 18 Sankara Vijayam books in Indian languages.  Like Ramayana in several languages by different authors.

Dear Prasanth,

The Tamizh Sankara Vijayam by Bharaneetharan is available in Giri Trading Company, Mylapore.  The English one
by Ranganatha Sarma is available only in Karnataka, at Vedanta Book Center, Chamarajpet.  The CD of Nochur
MAY BE AVAILABLE in Sri Ramanasramam.  Das Gupta's book is available in all leading bookshops in Chennai and
Bangalore.

Subramanian Garu,

In the below thread you posted in 2009 it looks like you mentioned that you read the book written by Sri Sankara Vijayam in Tamil by Ra. Ganapati.

Can you please clarify the same.

Prashant,
rA ganapathi wrote 'Jaya Jaya shankara Hara Hara shankara' as a serial in the Tamizh magazine 'Kalki'.I think that this was brought out as a book. Many of rA Ganapathi's books are out of print.I checked up with Giri Trading, chennai and they do not have it.I will check other sources and let you know.I always relish reading the works of this great soul.
Namaskar.

Dear prasanth, Ravi,

Yes.  The Tamizh book is by rA. Ganapati and not Bharaneetharan. I am sorry for the mistake.
