Book Review: Silence of the Heart Robert Adams
« on: August 01, 2014, 04:42:38 PM »
This book contains main dialogues of Robert Adams with his students.

Robert Adams was a direct disciple of Sri Ramana Maharishee who came in late 1940s if I am not wrong.

The book  has very practical methods for path of devotion.  Especially the portion on thinking about Sage is very beautiful.

Self enquiry is explained in a separate chapter.

This book is a good to read type for Ramana devotees who are vigorously pursuing active sadhana not momentary bliss .

Robert Adams seems to look a very understandable practical sadhaka turned teacher.

The book talks very little about self glorification.

And the dialogues equally hold good for eastern and western devotees.
