Aadi Krittikai - 21.07.2014
« on: July 21, 2014, 09:26:55 AM »
Today is Aadi Krittikai star day in this year of  Jaya.  In all famous Murugan temples, special pujas will take place
today.  Krittika sisters brought Him up when He came from  the third eye of Siva.  The six children became one when
Parvati took them and embraced the.  The star of Muruga is actually Visaka.  But He is also called Krittivaasa for the
service done by Krittika sisters.

Ganapati Muni had a darshan of Sri Bhagavan as six faced golden colored babies merging into one.  In Sri Ramana
Gita, He praises Sri Bhagavan as an avatara of Muruga and also before that He was Jnana Sambandha.

Kanchi Mahaswami also says that Sri Bhagavan came before as Kumarila Bhatta and Jnana Sambandha.

Arunagiri Nathar in several of his poems in Tiruppugazh said that Muruga was Jnana Sambandha.

Today there will be special festive pujas in all Muruga's  temples like Tiruchendur, Swamimalai and Tiruttani.

There will be a car festival also in Pazhani and Tiruttani.

Arunachala Siva.

Thanks Subramanian Sir for the above info .I was listening to Sri Ganesha Sharma's Saptahamof Kanchi Mahaswamigal and he said Kanchi Acharya was the second child of the total six children of his parents and both his name ( i.e Poorva Ashrama name - Swaminathan )  and his position as the  No: 2  Child point out that he was also an aspect of Lord Subramania . He also pointed out that the Kula Deivam of Kanchi Mahaswamigal was Swamimalai Murugan .
