A Poem from Mountain Path - Jan. - Mar. 2014

Haikus:

Cheenu Srinivasan:

Restlessness is mind
What folly to becalm it.
Elusive is peace

Our inner peace Is
Not the absence of disturbance.
Is this too troubling?

Feat:

Nileen Putatunda.

Old bare footed rickshaw puller
You run for bread,
While the man who runs on hot coals
Does it for God
But bread too is God,
Your feat is harder.

(This poem is from Oct.-Dec. 2013 of Mountainpath)

Chant:

( a quiet recitation prior to meditation)

John Wade.

Be Still and Know That I Am God
Be Still and Know That I am
Be Still and Know That I
Be Still and Know That
Be Still and Know
Be Still
Be.
