urgent prayer request
« on: October 30, 2013, 02:22:15 PM »
Dear Devotees

My father aged 66 years had constipation for a week which was found to be intestinieal blocakge.

A major operation was performed successfully but he still has to win over the rest 50% of post operational risk of infectional counts,  tummy movement,  and the smooth flow of digested items .  He is in ICU now .

I humbly request all to pray to our Bhagavan Ramana Maharishi ,  Lord Arunachaleshwara and Apeethakuchamba for his speedy recovery and extended grant of life.

I also pray for better finance management ,  I thank our Lord Arunachala a lakh and more times,  though he placed me away from Bangalore,  the new company has gracefully covered my Father on the higher hospitalization cover.

My father is treated in one of Bombay's leading hospitals with top specialist surgeons treating on him.

Like a beggar,  I am crying before my Lord Arunachala, Bhagavan Ramana and  Saradamma that at this crucial moment,  they had pre-planned , transferred me and arranged a graceful place for me to work  otherwise,  I would have been in a bad mess now interms of finance.

I am losing all interest in the worldly affairs after my exp in that hospital and on seeing what it looks like to suffer with this body.  Later the revelations ,  the lab experiments that was taught to me by Lord Shiva will be shared by me in a detailed post.

For now again,  I humbly request all of you to pray to my father's speedy recovery and to give him mental strength, non phobia calm mind and possitive attitude to come out of this danger and live longly chanting Siva's name.

Dear Sri Krishnan,

I was filled with compassion to know from your post about the dire condition of your father. I pray to Sri Bhagwan, Lord Sri Arunachala and the Mother to bestow Grace upon your father so that he may be able to battle out of this grim condition with calm and courage and to get cured as soon as possible, without further trouble, and return to his caring and anxious family members.  Surrender is the key for the manifestation of His Grace. What insignificant jiva can do? I also pray to Him to give you and other family members strength and forbearance to bear and tackle the situation with faith and thus allow destiny to work out in his favour.

Pranam,
  Anil

Dear devotees,

Thanks for all your overwhelming responses and I am really feeling at home seeing that lot of prayer responses for my Father's sake are reaching the Almight Lord Arunachala.

He has crossed the danger and out of ICU into normal ward now.

However his response to the treatment is very slow and the digestive excretion function is there but it needs to improve.  So he will be in normal ward for some more days I think.

I have not been in touch with medical costs and inflation happening in India for a very long time and so I am really surprised at the medical and surgical bills. Though this may not be the time to look into the cost ,  in this fast moving world, finance has become very important for the attending relatives of a patient.

Ok now,  spiritually this incident has left a deep mark in my mind.  Infact the Reality of Maya pinched every pore of my cell especially during that 4 hours of operation.

I would say,  I have got few things/doubts/questions cleared experimentally in my current method of sadhana during the course of this one week.  I understood life energy, love, renunication, detachment, the power of maya, our mind's double standards, hypocrisy of the false self,  selfishness,  restless craving for pleasure,  my own current status in spirituality, what is the improvement area for me in sadhana, where I did well  etc. etc. etc.

 let me summarize my learning:

the real worth of the sadhana and its effect which we carry is only a small portion compared to the time we spend in sadhana.  The rest we are caught in intellectual maze. But even that small portion is hard earned and it gives a bit of torch light when one is in deep pain or out of body.

Dear atmavichar sir,

Thankyou very much for your kind follow up enquiries.

He has started peforming normal excretionary activities without artificial aids.  We are all eagerly waiting for the final go ahead from the doctors for discharge to home.

I really feel fortunate for this healthy forum association (satsang) whereby mature devotees of Bhagavan Ramana are standing by my side mentally and praying for me.

Seriously this incident has brought a serious change in my outlook of life.  I have literally lost all interest in the worldy things and now seeing the temporary and transient nature of things.

It seems like we are befooled by God in the sense that we are just being given a momentary allotment of a micro span of time and within that tiny span,  man makes useless plans and hopes which is in the end going to be washed away for sure, sooner or later.

Dear devotees

By Lord Arunachala and Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharishee's grace,  my father was discharged a week back from the hospital and he has resumed his normal routine .

However he is very week and has become very much phobiotic post this major operation.

I sincerely thank one and all ,  our kind devotees of Bhagavan Sri Ramana ,  you all immediately prayed and wrote to me , offering words of grace and blessings.
