If the self is blissful
« on: March 26, 2013, 11:29:19 AM »
why can't we remain in that state, as Maharishi did? In our case, we get restless after a while, get up and do some other activity. If the self is blissful, then why aren't we immersed in that bliss all the time?

THis is what even Maharishi used to wonder :). That is the power of Maya - to make you go out and do karma. That push you feel from inside is the push of Divine Mother - who makes this all possible. Hence Lord said in Gita - "Mama Maya Duratyayah" - My maya is extremely hard to overcome.
