When Arunachala is Jnana Kshetra...
« on: November 16, 2012, 02:43:52 PM »
...why does not every saint teach about it?
Anandamayi Ma for instance never spoke about Arunachala, not even on her visits to South India.
Jillellamudi Amma never mentioned Arunachala eighter, although she lived in South India.
Ramakrishna did not teach about Arunachala, nor did Sarada Devi.
Why is that so?

Dear Jyoti,

Some teachers speak about Arunachala. Not all. It is dependent on where they had lived. Sri Bhagavan spoke about Arunachala
because the name Arunachala had given Him vibrations and He came there. He dug out the old Atma Vichara from the Upanishads
and gave in simple Tamizh to people. He also translated Arunachala Mahatmyam which speaks the greatness of Arunachala.

But Sri Bhagavan did not visit Kasi or any other place. We cannot ask why He did not visit Kasi and spoke / wrote about its
greatness.

Ma Anandamayi had visited Arunachala after Sri Bhagavan's Maha Nirvana and said: This is my father's home.

Arunachala Siva.

She visited Arunachala?
I did not know about this, I thought she had visited the ashram.

Dear Jyoti,

She has visited the Asramam and Samadhi Hall and Amma's temple, I am not sure whether she went to Big Temple or
go for giripradakshina.

Arunachala Siva.
