The Maharshi says that the Self is not in books ; if it were anybody might become a Sage b y study. Also it is not in any hermitage, and going to live in solitude will not help. " Why do you think you are a householder? The similar thought that you are a sannyasin will haunt you even if you go forth as one. Whether you continue in the household or renounce it and go to live in the forest, your mind haunts you. The ego is the source of thought. It creates the body and the world and makes you think of being a householder. If you renounce it will only substitute the thought of renunciation for that of family and the environment of the forest for that of the household. But the mental obstacles are always there for you. They even increase greatly in the new surroundings. Change of environment is no help. The one obstacle is the mind and this must be overcome whether in the home or in the forest. If you can do it in the forest, why not in the home ? So why change the environment ? Your efforts can be made even now, whatever be the environment.''

Nor is the Self something to be attained at some future date. " No one is ever away from his Self, and therefore everyone is in fact Self-realized ; only-and this is the great mystery-people do not know this and want to realize the Self. Realization consists only in getting rid of the false idea that one is not realized. It is not anything new to be acquired. It must already exist or it would not be eternal, and only what is eternal is worth striving for."

If it is said that Liberation is of three kinds, with form or without
form or with and. without form, then let me tell you that the extinction
of the three forms of Liberation is the only true Liberation.

of Ramana Maharshi, Riders and Sri Ramanasramam.

hi Jewel and everyone,
Divine blessings to each of you!

Here's a bit from Say Yes to Love, Giving Birth to a World of Love, the words of God through Yael and Doug Powell.

Quote
What I ask of you now is to be totally clear that Creation is a whole, and therefore, nothing can possibly be separate from Love. It simply is impossible. Love is All There Is. When you are clear, then shine it forth with your Twin Flame. "There is only God, only Love and everything is it." Everything is it. There can be no more pretending that anything can be separate except in a fantasy. You must never be fooled. Stand only in Love in your view, no matter what you see.

Thank you.

Not With Wings

Here soar
Not with wings

But with your moving hands and feet
And sweating brows -

Standing by your Beloved's side
Reaching out to comfort this world

With your cup of solace
Drawn from your vast reservoir of Truth.

Here soar
Not with your eyes and senses
That turn their backs
On the earth's sweet stumbling dance
Which needs you.

Here love, O here love,
With your mouth tender and open upon your lover,

And with your heart on duty
To the souls of rivers, children, forest animals,
All the shy feathered ones and laughing, jumping,
Shining fish.

O here, pilgrim,
Love
On this holy battleground of life

Where there are bleeding men
Who are calling for a sacred drink,

A gentle word or touch from man
Or God.

Hafiz

Those  who have come to my feet with love, and without delaying,
are those whose birth has been graced by God.
Theirs is an eminent and true life.

Through the thought of the feet of Guru who has reigned over devotees,
the intense darkness of ignorance present in the hearts of devotees,
will perish and ultimate liberation will be attained here and now.

Padam lovingly said, 'It will be a duty well done if you place all your duties upon me.'

When I came to Bhagavan, he was seated like a rock?.
His unwavering gaze was filled with grace, compassion and steady wisdom. I stood by his side.
After giving me a look, he opened the gate of my Heart and I was also established in his state.
I stood like that for eight hours, absolutely without fatigue, but filled with total absorption and peace.
Bhagavan in those days used to open our Heart with a simple gracious look, and it transformed us.
There was no need for any questions since he made us, by his look, like himself.

God forbid I'd compare the moon to your face
Or the tall cypress to your stature and grace.
Where in the moon are ruby sweet lips to be found?
What cypress sways with the luminous grace of your ways?

Time And Love

As I guard my honor,
My love in a foreign land
Ravishes beauties
Who belong to others.
Safely he will come,
But he has left me dead.

O traveler, tell him
That my youth wastes away?
If time goes on
Life too will go
And never shall we love again?

In The Spring Moonlight The Lord Of Love

In the spring moonlight the lord of love
Thro' the amorous ravel's maze doth move;
The crown of love love's raptures proves;
For Radha his amorous darling moves,
Radha the ruby of ravishing girls
With him bathed in love's moonlight whirls.
And all the merry maidens with rapture
Dancing together the light winds capture
And the bracelets speak with a ravishing cry.
And the murmur of waist -bells rises high-
Meanwhile rapture -waking string
Ripest of strains the sonata of spring
That lover and lord of love- languid notes
With tired delight in throbbing throats.
And rumours of violin and bow
And the mighty Queen's-harp mingle and flow;
And Radha's ravisher makes sweet measure
With the flute, that musical voice of pleasure.
Bidyapati's genius richly wove
For King Roupnaraian this rhythm of love.

Awake, Radha, awake,
Calls the parrot and its love.
For how long must you sleep,
Clasped to the heart of your Dark-Stone?
Listen. The dawn has come
And the red shafts of the sun
Are making us shiver.

I am drumming,
I am drumming,
I am drumming
for my Love's ever nearing union.
They say get a life.
What is all this drumming?
I swear to that Love,
the day that I stop drumming,
is the day that I will stop living.

Beyond what?
Beyond where?
Beyond when?
Beyond whom?
This beyond
Is not outside yourself,
But is the vast,
Limitless expanse
Within.
It is not knowable
Nor does it reside
Within the space of the known.
Stop running toward
Positive states.
Stop running from
Negative states.
Take whatever comes
As it comes;
Without judgment,
Without embellishment.
Then, watch it pass until
Whatever is to be
Next appears.

He who is known to those who forsake attachments,
He who is of plaited locks of hair in which river flows and baby moon grazes,
He who is verily sublime light and who dances in the Golden hall of Chidambaram
-lets worship his rosy anklet girt feet!

Lo, the God is dancing
- Shiva the all-destroyer and Lord of creation,
The Master of Yoga and the wielder of Pinaka. (Trident.)
His flaming locks have filled the sky,
Seven worlds play the rhythm
As the trembling earth sways almost to dissolution,
Lo, the Great God Shiva is dancing.
