Love came and emptied me of self

Love came and emptied me of self,
every vein and every pore,
made into a container to be filled by the Beloved.
Of me, only a name is left,
the rest is You my Friend, my Beloved.

Dear Jewellji,

Simple and beautiful message and the picture is perfect. Thank you for sharing such gems. The truth is universal and it is only our limited minds that focuses on the differences instead of experiencing the truth that unites us all.

Dear Jewell,

Rumi's quotes are very beautiful. After reading it I just took a pause and kept thinking for a while and it so true!. Before being realized we are so attached to this life, that we think it as every thing and do many mistakes to make it better NOT realizing the fact that it is just a period which we need to pass, which determines our journey to reach the final goal - Arunachala, Jesus, Allah etc (with what ever name people call)

OM ARUNAACHALESHWARAAYA NAMAHA!

Dear Vinod, Yes,everything happens here is to take us home,to make us come to the point where all began,to our real Self and nature. And You said it beautifuly, everything passes, everything is constantly changing. That is one leson i learned, that, and leson that nothing is like it seems to,our minds interpret everything wrongly. Even our difficulties are there only to make us more aware. To live more in Now,not in past,or future. And,Yes,i love Rumi too. He is one of my favorites. Everything He wrote is so true and beautiful. With love and prayers,

Thief of hearts

Thief of hearts,
you have ransacked
this beggar's hut,
left me
nothing.

All I see
now
is the print
of your pilfering hand
everywhere.

Too many nights

Too many nights
and no moon.

Have you stopped
heaven and earth
to hide your face?

If you will not
drench me
in your light

then swallow me
in this blind
hunger!

You you

Adi Atman,

I am a fool

I place a picture
before me
and say
     -- you you

hosanna hari hari bol!

daybreak and I whisper
to the sun
     -- you

full moon night
and I cry out
     -- you

summer downpour
the thunder crash
shouts for me
     -- YOU

drowning
drunk from too much
seawater
I sputter
     -- you you you

shambo shankara!

I am a grasping fool
I say -- you --

and you are gone

when I remember to shut up
then you are here

and I am gone

Dear Jewell,

Saint Manikkavachagar says: You are rare even to gods. The Vedas cannot reach you. Even the devout bhaktas
cannot trace you. But you have taken over me and ruled me. You made this body to do some drama in this world.
But you made this drama a drama of Jnana Sadhana. You have been made me to be born in this world only for
this drama, O My father!

Dear Jewell,

(Maniikkavachagar, Tiruvachakam, tiru Sadhagam, 10, Anandatitam, Verse 6.)

What are God's capacities?  These are immeasurable. He can harvest without even putting a seed on the field!
He can create, sustain and dissolve the earth and sky! But this great Power made this lowly dog eater to come and
join your group in the temple and made other ardent devotees to love me and made them own me as one among
their group. Will anyone cut off the tree just because a fruit is poisonous. So I am also like that, O Lord, you make
me bear good fruits and not cut me off.

Arunachala Siva.

A Blessing for One Who is Exhausted

When the rhythm of the heart becomes hectic,
Time takes on the strain until it breaks;
Then all the unattended stress falls in
On the mind like an endless, increasing weight,

The light in the mind becomes dim.
Things you could take in your stride before
Now become laborsome events of will.

Weariness invades your spirit.
Gravity begins falling inside you,
Dragging down every bone.

The tide you never valued has gone out.
And you are marooned on unsure ground.
Something within you has closed down;
And you cannot push yourself back to life.

You have been forced to enter empty time.
The desire that drove you has relinquished.
There is nothing else to do now but rest
And patiently learn to receive the self
You have forsaken for the race of days.

At first your thinking will darken
And sadness take over like listless weather.
The flow of unwept tears will frighten you.

You have traveled too fast over false ground;
Now your soul has come to take you back.

Take refuge in your senses, open up
To all the small miracles you rushed through.

Become inclined to watch the way of rain
When it falls slow and free.

Imitate the habit of twilight,
Taking time to open the well of color
That fostered the brightness of day.

Draw alongside the silence of stone
Until its calmness can claim you.
Be excessively gentle with yourself.

Stay clear of those vexed in spirit.
Learn to linger around someone of ease
Who feels they have all the time in the world.

Gradually, you will return to yourself,
Having learned a new respect for your heart
And the joy that dwells far within slow time.

Dear Sri Subramanian sir,

Wonderful! I truly feel this way. Whatever happens, happens because of His will and Love. Whatever fruit we give it is all His Love's fruit. That is only that Love manifesting in so many Beautiful and sweet ways. How wonderful and magical are His ways!

Thank You Very much!
