There is so much beauty in the world. But all this beauty is seen by the light. Without light there is no beauty, just objects with which we collide in the dark. Without light this beauty has turned into an obstacle.

The wisest are children. They take the thoughts which the mind gives them but don't pay attention on them and let them go.

Food for thought: When there is inside, there is outside and border between them. But inside what and outside what? Where is the border?

Food can be taken for survival but also for just pleasure of the mind. Every spiritual practice becomes just a play for the pleasure of the mind if we don't use it by the way it is intended to be used by the Sages.

The world is illusory when it is seen as something outside but is real when it is seen as the Self. So the problem is not in the world but in the mind. Even if the world disappears the mind will objectify something else. The most subtle objectification and duality is the pure mind. It is when it is turned to the Self and is called Self-attention. The Self is even above this "I, I" duality and is called just 'existence' or 'being' because there is nothing to be aware of, there is nothing to be done.

There is no use of arguing if the world is mind-creation or it is something real outside us. There is no philosophical arguments which to prove or disprove either of these notions. The important thing is that our vision of the world is due to our mind. And even more important than this is that we are not the mind. Sankhya/Yoga and Vedanta share the same highest Truth - "You are the Self/Purusha". Everything else is just details.

Quote
By His Command, bodies are created; His Command cannot be described. By His Command, souls come into being; by His Command, glory and greatness are obtained. By His Command, some are high and some are low; by His Written Command, pain and pleasure are obtained. Some, by His Command, are blessed and forgiven; others, by His Command, wander aimlessly forever. Everyone is subject to His Command; no one is beyond His Command. O Nanak, one who understands His Command, does not speak in ego.
[Guru Granth Sahib]

Food for thought: Is it spiritually healthy to accept totally, without an jota of scepticism the most precious for us teaching or Teacher?

Follow the facts and your sharp mind but there is time when you must let them go.

Poem for Shiva

Bholo bholo submela bholo Om namashivaya
O, Gracious Lord, help me, save me of Your Mahamaya.
I feel so small, struck, egoistic and weak,
I am so helpless, your Grace I seek.
Look at me, I am the pities creature itself,
please, o, my Lord, show me the Self.
I will go wherever You say,
I would do whatever I may.
Show Your face in front of my eyes,
if You want renounciation, I'd pay that price.
O, Shiva, Arunachala, Shankara,
You Who dwells in sahasrara,
please, Lord, give me Your help
compared to You I am like whelp.
Without Your Light I live like in hole,
where the darkness embraces my soul.
I see the people are calling Your Name,
but their life - it seems to be same.
Why You don't answer their prayers,
why don't You resolve their cares?
Their karma Sages say - "it's strong,
this is where now they belong.
Karma resolves itself, there is no need
to search a help, you have planted the seed.
Everything what is destined will come,
karma acts to all, not to some.
Be patient and sharp in your mind,
to all creatures I advice you to be kind.
This way new karma you sowed,
and the path of freedom to you'll be showed.
There is another thing to say,
Lord's Name is the way
which is above karma current or next
with God's Name you'll never be vexed.
Saying It now you don't see results but wait
everything changes when grows the faith"
I am waiting to teach me Vedanta o Hara
without misconceptions, and fear, and doubts, Parameshvara.
At Your feet I am always on my knees,
all I want Lord is to share with me Your peace.

Everyone wants to give comments on Bhagavad Gita. Aren't God's Words clear enough? Or we want to make our own philosophy on Lord's account? Isn't more honest to say "Hey, I have new philosophy. Do you wanna hear it?" than to put words in God's mounth?

Just as we can move the atoms so that we can make a movie from them so the Lord controls all the atoms in the universe to make His own movie called life.

To be alone does not mean to be lonely. When someone is alone due to his/her own will it just means that he/she finds happiness in his/her Self and in the Silence of the Lord. But how could the ordinary people understand that?

O, Krishna, we are puppets and You are the Puppeteer. O, Krishna, we are so happy that You are our Puppeteer. Please, lead us from the darkness and lead us to the light of Your Heart. Clean the dirt of our minds so vairagya, shraddha, mumukshutva, viveka and prema to strart glowing in our souls. O, Supreme Lord, hour after hour, day after day, year after year we are begging for Your mercy and compassion. Please, Lord, save us from this samsara. Remove from our mind all that is obstacle for our spiritual path. Be our Friend and Beloved forever and ever.

People say that living worldly life is ignorance because the world is not real, only the Self is. All methods and teachings are also unreal then and following them is also ignorance. But if we accept everything as God's Lila then no matter what we do - this is wisdom.
