Dear Balaji,

To sit in the mere presence of Jnani itself will do. All sins will be washed away. There is no need to go Ganga
or pilgrimages.

It is also mentioned in Ulladu Narpadu, Supplement, Verses, 4 and 5.

Arunachala Siva.

But Guru is within says Lord Ramana. Then why should we go anywhere? This is what I cannot understand. And why should we be near Jnani? Isn't Jnani within us? What should we do? To concentrate on Jnani within Who is the Self or to the Jnani without Who appears as body or both?

Dear Hari,

We should concentrate on our own Self,I am,presence. And in the same time we can worship Guru in body form,if we feel inclined to do so. But best worship for me is selfinqiury,or whatever effort we make toward the Truth.
We dont need to go anywhere, and maybe we even wont. It all depends on that what suits You best, and what is best for You. There is no need to do anything, then to reside in Your own Being.

With love and prayers,

Hari

The Self is always attained, it is always realised, it is not something that you have to seek, reach or discover. Your vasanas, the mental habits and tendencies, and all the wrong ideas you have about yourself, are blocking and hiding the experience of the real Self. If you don't identify with the wrong ideas, your Self-nature will not be hidden from you.

Dear Hari,

Annamalai Swami's Liberation Day falls tomorrow, 09.11.2012.  He merged in Sri Bhagavan on 09.11.1995.
I want someone to write some incidents on his life.

Arunachala Siva.

"Give up all questions except one: "Who am I?" After all, the only fact you are sure of is that you are. The "I am" is certain. The "I am this" is not. Struggle to find out what you are in reality."

"You say you are happy. Are you really happy, or are you merely trying to convince yourself. Look at yourself fearlessly and you will at once realize that your happiness depends on conditions and circumstances, hence it is momentary, not real. Real happiness flows from within."

"Nearly all mankind is more or less unhappy because nearly all do not know the true Self. Real happiness abides in Self-knowledge alone.  All else is fleeting. To know one's Self is to be blissful always."
