Dear friends,
I wish some one were to publish a reasonably priced book with coloured photographs on the history of  the Shrines on Girivallam route and   in and around Thiruannamalai .
This could also throw more light on the  missing links in the history of the holy hill  in terms of how people have benfitted from it over the ages perhaps even from BC times.
If  Ramanashramam could do it, then it will be great then we can be assured of a divine blessing in that exercise.
Each shrine seems to bring time to a standstill and seems to reflect Arunachala's greatness.
Regards,
Anand.

Dear Ananda Sundaram,

There is one beautiful book under the title Giri Uruvaahiya Kirupai
Kadale - O the Ocean of Grace in the form of Hill, in Tamizh. This
book covers the stories of all the shrines in the girivalam route. It
touches upon the history of Arunachala in between but not in great
details.  It also gives the details about the temple and shrines of
Arunachaleswarar. This is a publication by the Asramam.

Arunachala Siva.
