past life association with Ramana
« on: July 18, 2011, 10:07:33 AM »
Dear all,

Seems this forum was active sometime before but not very active nowadays.

Any case,  please let me ask this:

There are many devotees in 21st Century who are very very devoted and surrendered to Ramana.

Like David Godman,  Graham, Subramanian,  Nome etc.

My question is ,  does any of the devotees in this forum has a vague remembrance of any sort of association with Bhagavan when he was in body?   Like when you entered ashram something confusing,  something re-calling the past,  or anywhere in other spots like virupaksha cave?

My doubt is  that many of the devotees who associated with Maharishee when alive, would have been re-born now and few of our forum members will have a trace I believe.

As far as myself is concerned,  I went to the panthal to take part in the feast for the Maharishee Maha Nirvana day in April 26th.

That time only I saw the Vaidhya Sala (small dispensary) building from a distance.  Something within me had a vague feeling of familiarity,  some sort of vague expression of a known feeling.

The same thing happened once when I sat at a rock in the way to Virupaksha cave last  year.   I had a strange feeling that two people were talking so long ago at the same spot and I was in a dormat igorant state (may be animal or some tribe) listenting to the talks.

Not sure if this is hallucination  but my intution says that I have had some association with Bhagavan.

Also what you think would have been happening to Peruaml Swami now?  Would he have finished his hell by now and re-born?  Mysterious and strange are these questions, but it occurs me to ask all this.

Like Buddha our Maharishee has made such a big impact that even those of the causual one time visitors while he was alive,  would get more and more of his teachings now in some birth.

Nice to read your flash back to your previous birth.  I  was born in  Jan 1951, post Nirvana of Bhagavan .  I am so much drawn to Bhagavan since 1991. I wondered how is it I am so much  fascinated and attracted towards Bhagavan, whom I had never met   before in my life. I thought that I might have been associated with him in my previous birth. Then I wrote two chits of paper.in one paper affirming my contact with Bhagavan in my previous birth and in the other chit  I negatived my fancy. I put the chits before the portrait of Bhagavan and closing my eyes picked up one of the chits. In answer, I got the affirmative reply of my past connection with Bhagavan and was so much elated. Yes, the Guru follows you birth after birth and shower his grace and guidance until and unless you are redeemed and merge with Him.

About Major Chadwick, Bhagavan had mentioned that he was one of us and  had to be born in Western country to satisfy some of his desire. Here, it its meant that Bhagavan and Chadwick belonged to the world of Arunachala which is a mysterious hill containing a City in itself.

Like your experience in Ramashramam, Chadwick too experienced a vision in the Arunachala Hill He  saw a city within the Hill and felt  the places he saw very familiar to him.

Dear Krishnan, arcsekar,

It is nice to read your posts about our association with Sri Bhagavan
in our previous birth.  It may be verified by having a strange feeling
inside the Asramam or even seeing the photograph of Sri Bhagavan.

As far as I am concerned I do not have any such feelings or de javo,
as they call it.  But I believe that Sri Bhagavan has been taking care
of me through His Presence now or even while He was in his mortal
coil.

One clue can be that  the members in the Forum and even outside,
a good number of people are be attached to Sri Bhagavan either
by reading His books or by seeing His photographs, because they
have all chosen Him to be a complete Guru for them than anyone
else living or dead.  This attachment or love or devotion to Sri
Bhagavan, exclusively is a sure indication of our attachment in
the past.

Once when in Sri Ramanasramam, one gentleman emotionally told
me: We must have been at least a lice on the body of a monkey
that was caressed by Sri Bhagavan. Otherwise, we shall not come
here frequently.  This, in my view, is a true statement.

He does not leave us till we attain self realization, perhaps in this
birth itself or in a birth that is to come.

Arunachala Siva.

Dear Ramanaduli and others,

For the past fifteen days, my Mozilla Firefox is not working
properly. I am writing all my posts in Safe Mode. This Safe
Mode is a crackpot. It was showing the letter fonts big. Krishnan
pointed out this. Today I see all lines crossed in my yesterday's
post. Please ignore the cross lines.  I am seriously thinking
of buying a new computer sometime next week.

Dear Subramanian, It might help if you write your post in something like wordpad, then copy and paste in to firefox.

All I know is Ramana seems right and takes all doubts away.
