ramana sannidhi
« on: July 25, 2010, 07:22:00 PM »

One day a man rushed in and flung himself face down before the maharshi in a paroxism of weeping. Great sobs tore his body. The Maharishi said nothing and no one else dared. I watched the Maharishi. His head was turned aside and he seemed indifferent. After some time, the violence of the man's grief subsided and gradually he became quiet. Still  no one spoke. Then at last, reverentially the man rose and made a deep salutation. The Maharishi turned his head and smiled upon him. I felt suddenly as if all flowers of the world had poured their fragrance into our midst

Dear SLakshmi,

Yes. Such things happened in His Presence. Such things also
happen even today.  The weeping, the non-stop talking [one
Pandit did that by talking about Upanishads for 10 days.  He
became quiet on the 11th day.], the 'sucked in' state of manolaya
with no activity [Jatini Sundarambal], barrage of questioning [Paul
Brunton], suspicion whether one's progress in self enquiry is correct
or not [Major Chadwick] -- all these happened in His Presence and the
devotees were finally quietened after realizing the Truth.
