ULLadu Narpadu - 105
« on: May 18, 2010, 03:10:44 PM »

Muruganar covers the message of Verses 17 and 18 of ULLadu
Narpadu, in some more verses of his Guru Vachaka Kovai:

Verse 1123:  Those who have experienced being-consciousness
have known the eternal Sivam.  Moreover, they have seen the cessation of the duality that causes the fear.  They have seen their
natural state, which is the eternally pure state of turiya.  They
are the great ones who will never see birth again.

Verse 1124:  If at anytime in the past the chit-jada knot, the
source of all other bonds, has been severed, then one will never
again be caught in the bondage of samsara.  The state of God, the
possession of power, and profound peacefulness -- all these are in
truth only this state of shining as Swarupam.

[David Godman indicates here the verse 9.22 of Sri Ramana Gita:
"Once the knot is cut, one is never bound again.  This is considered
to be the state of power supreme and peace supreme.  -  Bhagavan]

Muruganar also quotes Bhagavan's statement in Padamalai, V.725:

"Bhagavan:  Unlike a blossoming lotus that closes [during the night],
the Heart-Lotus, which has blossomed after the untying of the ignorable knot, will never close again."

Verse 1126:  Following he destruction of the mind that is the
limited consciousness, the Jivanmukta shines and abides wholly
as Sivam, unlimited consciousness.  Such a one dwells identically
within every Jiva as the soul of their souls.  Therefore, by meditating lovingly on the real nature of such a being, the heart-knot will snap
and light of pure being will, through his grace, shines forth from the

Arunachala Siva.
