« on: May 15, 2010, 10:27:49 AM »

I mentioned about Sri Ramana Pada Maalai of Sivaprakasam Pillai,
in Aradhana darshan posts.  The poem was musically rendered on
12th May by Ramananjali Group.

I have translated a few verses here:

Invocation:

Let us pray to the elephant faced Ganapati's anklet wearing feet,
To eulogize Guru Mani Ramana's feet!

1. Long live, Long live, Long live, Long live,
Long live Ramana's feet,
Long live, Long live, Long live, Long live,
Long live at all times, Long live.

1. You have come as grace in a form
Long live Guru's feet, Long live
It removes the delusion and renders clarify
Long live the feet, the Brahmin's feet.

2.  He is the God who vanquishes the mind
Long live His feet, Long live,
He is the One who has no likes and dislikes,
Long live His blemishless feet, Long live.

3.  He is the One who appears as Effulgence,
He is the God, Long live His feet,
He is the One who got the grace of primordial God,
        the Brahman.
He is the devotee, Long live His feet.

4.   He is the One who realized the Truth, and left out
           everything else.
He is the Truth, Let His feet, Long live.
He is the One who made us realize the the Truth,
          as It is,
He is the Refuge, Long live His feet.

5.    He is the One who realized but does not show That
He is the Wise, Let His feet live long.
He is the One who showed the way of true devotion,
He is the Great One, Let His feet, long live.

(to be contd.)

Arunachala Siva.
