Bhagavan as non-moving Sat
« on: April 29, 2010, 05:55:53 PM »
For sometime, Bhagavan Ramana was sitting in the front portal
of Mother's Temple, where a nice stone sofa had been made.  He
used to sit there and converse with devotees.  Once a photographer
from West came and took photo of Him.  He took Bhagavan's photos
for about an hour with a break of say five minutes each time.  In
the photographs, devotees who were sitting were moving here and
there, some of them who were sitting, were in different cross legged
positions etc.,  In all the 10 plus photographs, Bhagavan Ramana
was appearing in the same posture, without any movement!  The
photographer was surprised.  How can a person sit like this, without
moving an inch?  He was not in closed eyes meditation.  He was
with eyes open and speaking a few words now and then to devotees.
But His posture remained like a rock structure.  Thus He proved
that He is really the non moving Sat.

On this stone sofa, they have now kept the statue of Bhagavan Ramana, with a white piece of codpiece.  It is made of black
granite.  They do not garland the statue, but merely place some
flowers in the space available in front, everyday.  One young lad
by name Venkataraman, has been doing this work daily around
8 am.

Arunachala Siva.
