Namaskaram (Prostration)
« on: April 13, 2010, 10:33:46 AM »
Bhagavan Ramana never liked anyone doing namaskarams many
many times.  He says that these were not necessary and one
namaskram would do, if done sincerely.  He also did not approve
namaskrams (by Tenamma and Suri Nagamma and others) coming
round and round the Old Hall and doing namaskarams in each quarter.
He said that these things should be stopped forthwith.  Because,
when they do such namaskarams, their figures seen through the
windows distract the attention of the devotees inside the Hall.
