Major Chadwick's Day - 14.04.2010
« on: April 11, 2010, 10:50:07 AM »
Major Chadwick came to Bhagavan Ramana from a Western country and he had never
returned home.  He merged with Bhagavan in Vellore Hospital after some illness.
He had been helped by Bhagavan on many occasions, when there were some set backs
in his sadhana.  Bhagavan Ramana reiterated to him the Atma Vichara and made him
continue the same unabatedly.

Once he started reading Bhagavan's collected works and translated them in English.
The manuscript was over and he had not still made up his mind to place it before
Bhagavan.  Meantime, Arthur Osborne who had been doing a similar work and completed
the same placed it to Bhagavan and this was approved.

Chadwick never had any disappointment.  After some weeks, he also placed his
work before Bhagavan and went away to his cottage.  This must be available in
Ramanasramam Archives.

This is the epitome of nishkamya karma, without attachments or non attachments.

Major Chadwick's Day is observed on 17.04.2010 and not on
14.04.2010.  This correction may kindly be taken into account.
