Bhagavad Gita's Self Inquiry
« on: April 09, 2010, 11:46:26 AM »
chapter 6, verse 36:
yathao yatho nischarati manah chanchalam asthiram
tatastathau niyamyaitad atmaneva vasham nayet.

that is:
chanchalam asthiram manah yatah yatah nischarti tatah tatah etat niyamya atmani eva vasham nayet.

[wherever the fickle and unsteady mind moves out, bring it back from those places and let it be resolved into the Self (atman ie, Awareness)]

Love!
Silence

Yes, this is one of the most splendid verses of BG.  I think Bhagavan has taken
it in His Bhagavad Gita Saram.

Arunachala Siva.
