T.R. Kanakmmal, once again!
« on: March 29, 2010, 07:31:12 AM »
Brahmasri Nochur Venkatraman writes in Feb issue of Ramana Way:

Bhagavan's direct disciples were the greatest testimony for His
teachings, as they lived in Ramananubhuti.  They lived in Ramana
and we saw the end of one of the greatest direct devotees last
Jayanti Day on 1.1.2010.  During the last (2009) Madras Enlightenment Festival, I was sitting very close to her.  Before that,
everyday she came to my talks there early morning - the Ulladu
Narpadu Talks.  A young boy, who was not very learned in spiritual
teachings, used to bring her everyday to Narada Gana Sabha (Chennai).  On the last day, he said to me: "Anna (Brother), when
I see the Amma (Mother, TRK), I feel as I am seeing Bhagavan."
Then I said:  "Yes. Ramana Bhagavan alone is there in her."  You
need not be educated to receive that spiritual vibration.  It over-
powers you.  It can encroach into you.  It is more palpable than
any solid thing.  So Kanakammal lived all her life in Bhagavan and
we were fortunate to see how Bhagavan took her away.

We have heard about Meera and Andal merging into Krishna.  We saw that on that day.  It was one of the greatest displays of
Bhagavan's Grace.  On Bhagavan's Jayanti, Kankammal did three
pradikshanas to Bhagavan's Samadhi and simply merged with Him!

When Ramana came to Arunachala, He made Ramana, Achala - non moving.  Whoever came to Bhagavan, He simply swallowed them.  They did not exist as persons.  They became the embodiment of the
Ramana Experience.  Such a one was Smt. T.R. Kanakammal.

Arunachala Siva.
