Sri Ramana Jayanti 1.1.2010 - 3
« on: January 02, 2010, 08:17:16 AM »
29th December 2009 -  Tuesday

After the participating in the morning pujas to Ramaneswara Mahalingam, we went to the Arunachaleswara Temple.  The
crowd was quite high, being Tuesday.  We had to spend quite
a long time in both Annamalai and Unnamulai Shrines, in a long
queue.  Seeing my Cute Little Father and Cute Little Mother
is an experience in itself and any amount of waiting, you forget,
once you go near to see them.  Only my weak legs were paining,
due to my knee problem.  The darshan more than compensated
for the trouble taken.

We returned from the Temple and again sat before Sri Ramaneswara Mahalingam.  The wonder of the day was to happen.  Only a day
before I left for T'malai,  I wrote about Lucy Ma, whose Liberation
Day is observed on 31st December.

Here, we saw Lucy Ma's illustrious daughter, in pure white saree
and bright kumkum.  When we went near her, she held our hands
and said:  "Thank you for telling about my mother.  I am here since
more than a decade.  Every day is an experience for me."   She
said her name is Hay Kay (spelling ?).  A German by birth, she
speaks good English and Tamil.  My wife was thrilled to see her
simple disposition.  She took lunch with us.

"Since we have no direct access to the depths of subconscious
where the Vasanas are stored, we can only treat the symptoms
as it were, the thoughts and pictures, concepts and ideas, which
rise into our consciousness.  And it is enough when we treat them in the way already mentioned, watching them quietly as they arise and disappear on their own."

"Meditation without object brings up more of them than the habitual waking state.  Vasanas from a depth of the unconsciousness, which is not touched even by meditation will be settled by dreams.  It seems to be the explicit purpose of the dream state to deal with inaccessible Vasanas and render them harmless.  We need not worry about them as obstaclesto our Sadhana, to treat their 'offsprings' as and when they appear will do to make them ineffective.  After all, they cling to the personal 'I' only.  When that disappears in search for the Self, they too dissolve once and for all."

      - Hunting the I, Lucy Cornelssen (Lucy Ma)

In the evening Tamil Parayana, after puja, it was Upadesa Undiayar (Tamil) - Upadesa Saram and Ulladu Narpadu, and Ulladu Narpadu Anubandam (Tamil) Sad Darsanam, Main and Supplement.

Arunachala Siva.

Dear I,

You take us all to Ramanashramam by your narration here about your experiences each time! I am just there beside you invisibly, watching every incident of yours through your narration.

Salutations to Sri Ramana
