Sivananda Lahari - Verse 23
« on: November 28, 2009, 10:34:06 AM »
Sivananada Lahari Verse 23 describes the glory of Arunachala.
This is one of the ten verses selected by Bhagavan Ramana for
praying to Siva.  Sri Sankara says:

"O the all pervading one!  I do pooja to you everyday.  One day
you shall appear before me and give me the bliss.  What can
I ask?  If I ask for Brahma's post or Vishnu's post, I have to
take birth as a swan and a boar to do puja to your face and
feet.  I cannot bear with us torturous efforts.  You appear
before me and give me the eternal bliss of resting at your feet
ever.  O the God taking care of the welfare of every devotee,
please grace me."

Arunachala Siva.
