Who is getting hit?
« on: October 21, 2009, 06:15:44 PM »
Suppose a stone is hurled in air ... i need to have a physical form to get hit by the stone.
if a physical presence of not there, there is no possibility of getting hit. The Space never gets hit no matter how many stones are hurled.

similarly, at the mental level ... if a thought is able to "Touch me", that means there is a mental form that i have created ... this form resists the flows ... it stands against thoughts and creates all the emotional builtups.

So its very important not to form a mental image , a mental form ... and this is what Advaita bodha deepika says "the form aspect of mind has to dissolve" ... meaning, "I" should not exist as a mental form that can be hit by any thoughts.

Love!

Dear srkudai,

This is a very good point.
When there is free space there is no resistance.
If there is a feeling of resistance, thought form has already formed in the free space.
Some thought forms acts like gum which sticks more thoughts to it and forms a big mass.
Homage to the Universal Being...Om Shanti ... Om Shanti ... Om Shanti ...
