I am in Atma
« on: September 30, 2009, 11:50:35 AM »
Once Bhagavan Ramana was strolling on the Hill.  Swami Siddeshwarananda, a Sri Ramakrishna Order ascetic was with Him.
It was a pleasant morning.  After some distance, Bhagavan Ramana
stood still looking at the Hill and the greens.  Swami Siddeshwarananda asked Bhagavan Ramana:  "Swami!  Are you
enjoying the beauty of Prakruti?

Bhagavan Ramana looked at him intently and told:  "No. I am
in Atma, I AM!"

We all give in easily to the beauties of the world, its pleasures.
We rejoice.  When the pain and sorrow come, we wail, cry and
pray to God.  The Brahma Jnani has nothing to do with Prakruti,
Nature or the world.  He is ever in Brahman.  Nothing bewitches
him and nothing bewilders him.  He is ever in Swatmanubhuti,
the bliss of the Self.  For him, Prakruti is also Brahman.  There
is nothing to rejoice or wail.
