For the fifth verse of Pancharatnam, the translation given by
Prof. K. Swaminathan, which is the simplest, is as under:

He who with Heart to you surrendered.
Beholds for ever You alone,
Sees all things as forms of You,
And loves and serves them as none other,
Than the Self, O Aruna Hill,
Triumphs because he is immersed
in You whose being is Pure Bliss.

Bhagavan Ramana says that the foremost pre-requisite in
karma and bhakti is Surrender, Saranagati.  He has on many
occasions said that total surrender is other name for self-
enquiry.  At the end of both, there is no 'other' but only the Self.

Bhagvan Ramana, while answering M. Sivaparakasam Pillai
on the characteristics of a great bhakta, devotee says:
