Dear Nagaraj,

I wanted only to highlight what Sri Sankara and Sambandha did with Saivites, and Jains respectively.  Perhaps the Kings
might have indulged in violence against Saivites or Vaishnavites.  You may be true.  What was worse was the deeds of
Moslems when Moghul Rule was there in India.  They plundered many Hindu temples and raped Hindu women.

Arunachala Siva.

Very true sir, it is most painful, most painful!! we can only seek solace by concluding that the ways of God are mysterious and beyond our cognisance and reach.

Such things only make ourselves, our heads bow down out of our inability and helplessness in the divine will of God.
