Meditations on Japji Sahib
« on: June 24, 2009, 11:34:18 AM »
Japji Sahib is a Sikh Granth. It is of the form of a prayer by Sri Guru Nanak. These Set of Articles are essentially Meditations on Japji Sahib. I do not know the language, but having heard this song a few times, felt that it is a very useful song for meditation.
There is an Excellent web resource : http://www.sikhs.org/japji/jp1.htm
This gives a verse by verse meaning. One can try using these verses for meditation.

I shall use this translation to explain how we can effortlessly drift into Inner Stillness through these simple verses.
