Vichara Mani Mala
« on: March 29, 2009, 02:54:41 PM »
A Tamil prose work Vichara Mani Mala, was said to have been written by one M.R. Arunachala Mudaliar, who was a devotee of Bhagavan Ramana.  This work is from the original Vichara Sagara Sarasangraham, written by one Swami Nischala Das in Hindi.  For a long time, the Tamil cryptic prose rendering was considered as a work of Arunachala Mudaliar.  In fact, it was written by Bhagavan Ramana Himself, in and around 1909 and was printed in the same year.  Now,
after some research it has been found to be only an authentic composition of Bhagavan Ramana and has accordingly been included in the Tamil Collected Works, of 2002 edition.  This is in the form of dialogue between a guru and a sishya and it runs to about 17 pages.
