Where is in fact, Bhagavan Ramana?
« on: March 10, 2009, 11:29:11 AM »
When Fernia Osborne, Aruthur Osborne's youngest child, was seven
When the other two children of Osborne were one day, talking about
their friends, and she, having no real friends yet, but not wanting to be left out, said: "Dr. Syed is my best frined in the world."

This was told to Bhagavan.  "Ah?" He replied, with perfunctory interest.

And her mother then asked the child: "What about Bhagavan?"

"Ah?"  This time, Bhagavan turned His head and showed real interest.

Fernia then said: "Bhagavan is not in this world!"

"Ah?"  Bhagavan sat upright with an expression of delight, placing His forefinger against the side of His nose in a manner He had when
showing surprise.  He translated the story into Tamil and repeated it delightedly to others who entered the Hall.

Later Dr. Syed asked the child where Bhagavan was, if not in the world, and she replied:  "He is everywhere!"

Dr. Syed continued in Koranic vein:  "How can we say that He is not a man in the world like us, when we see Him sitting on the couch, and
eating and drinking and walking about?"

And the child replied:  "Let us talk about something else!"
